It's Cybertron Hot Shot in red. For many, that makes it a Hot ROD!

Megatron is nice, but Sky-Byte is the star. It's a shark on wheels. How can you go wrong with that?

You really can't go wrong with a jetpack-wearing dragon!

Many people will likely overlook this line, and that's a shame; figures like Optimus Prime have a great deal to offer.

We will get an Animation accurate Seaspray at some point in AOTP too, right?

While I don't think redoing the Aerialbots was necessary, and I'm not a fan of Silverbolt as a flying fortress, I must admit that from a technical standpoint, this release is well done.

It's fantastic to have G1 Sunstreaker in hand again, now with added articulation!

With wave 02, the line is starting to get a bit repetitive.

This is a significantly improved update of Sky-Byte compared to the Thrilling 30 version. It makes me want to write a sonnet.

The same fun as the Galaxy Version, now with a light-up gimmick!

For a vehicle mode that looks involved, Starscream has a fairly simple yet fun transformation.

I think this is a mistake. Megs and Bee should be a "Normal" Pulse exclusive like Prime/Starscream. SDCC would've been a perfect opportunity to repaint Starscream and give us Thundercracker and Skywarp.

It's Optimus Prime as a Choo Choo!

Ya know, it just hit me, Twitch is a great name for a one-step changer!

This is an interesting set—both Wingtail and Blue Booster feature involved transformations that I wasn't expecting. Even if you're not a fan of the franchise, these are solid figures that should be experienced.

The head isn't new. The only new tooling is the torso.

This is a nice update to Perceptor, but I don't like this trend of Hasbro redoing figures to get them "Right."

These are interesting figures, hopefully there's more to come!

Somewhere, a circle begun with Rescue Bots Heatwave is now complete. I think this character wears the Bulkhead mold well.

Believe it or not, I found myself enjoying Spinister and Topspin more than Carnivac and Fisitron. The plastic felt better, and the transformations were more enjoyable.

Not a bad little Smash Changer!

I'm surprised that the figures with the most new tooling are packed together and not mixed in with Spinister and topspin.

This fun toy is a throwback to the classic G1 Optimus Prime. I appreciate the new tooling on the Warrior Class figure, which gives us a cleaner vehicle mode.

Not all updates are winners. This version of the VW Bumblebee just isn't fun to transform.

This is a fun figure, but I wish some of the other figures were released at the same time to really take advantage of all the features.
