The TFAs will be bought for my older son Swindle, Blurr, Skywarp, and Shockwave any way. Uni Starscream much more G1 than Cl and that means I can repaint the Cl Starscream into one of the other Seekers (I'm also going to be getting a couple of Acidstorms for this too, Hound, Cyclonus, Beachcomber, Brawn, Inferno, and maybe Vector Prime to redo into Alpha Trion definite. Kind of wanting to get the Scourge repaint to make into Sludge. Had an idea to make him a while ago, size wise he's good comparing him to Cl Grimlock, and the Ko Brimstone I repainted into Swoop, and he has the long neck too, just need to replace the other 2 heads with big cannons. Not much for the Robot Heros but I might pick up a couple packs for my new little boy since soon he'll be able to start picking things up to play with them and what better than TFs. Though they don't TF but ah well he won't know any better. I'll get him one of the real ones when he's 6 months old like I did with my older boy.

What? Really?? That's Universe Starscream?? That's awesome!!!! I didn't even think there was a Classics Starscream in the works. I kept thinking that it was just another Henkei creation in the works. Good for you Hasbro! Great positive steps. VTS, I think my Cl Star just may become Thundercracker after all. ... unless Hasbro surprises me. ~_^

I'm a happy Fanboy! ^_^

BTW, is that a ... Classics Cheetor I see? ^_^

If this line goes on long enough, all the classics will be released with G1 color schemes.

i love the TFA's, there dead on to the cartoon and just look plain cool!! cant wait to pick up Blurr and Swindle. that Classics Hound is amazing (dont know how i feel about classics line yet) the color and detail is great and Inferno is probably the best looking on this page....now i just got to find room in my apt for all of them !!!

Has no one noticed that there is a cassette on Hound's trunck!

Its Ravage, and they made him so he'll fit in G1 Soundwave.

Who is the Vector Prime repaint supposed to be an homage to? Sorry if this question was answered already.

From what I can see, that Bumblebee is NOT a full-sized figure. He seems to be like Beachcomber and Brawn so is probably a Heroes of Cybertron or whatever it's called line (the small simple versions of bigger bots).

In fact, if beachcomber and chums are released like that, I will probably wait for a Chinese knock-off version that will be made bigger. Then, alas, like the knock-off Classics Megs, the copies will boast some better features than the original.

Here, Hasbro, you dropped this, would you like your ball back?

But me likey some of the others. BTW, here is RID Bruticus with his beefed-up post Beast Machines version:

I rather like the idea of releasing the Minibots as Legends-class figures. Firstly, I really like the Legends-class figures in general. I've always liked smaller transformers, ever since... you know... the Minibots of G1. I think it's a clever idea and a better use of a price point than simply "shrunken and crappy versions of character." Granted, sometimes they're great (Cybertron Starscream managed to retain most of the details and features of his Supreme counterpart) but a lot of the time not so much (what's the point of Legends-class versions of Deluxe characters?). Plus, they seem pretty well-designed.

I really freaking want Cosmos, I might add. I've wanted a G1 Cosmos for a while, and I think this will take away that want, since it's like G1 Cosmos went on Atkins and started doing yoga.

That's a very nice line up. Plenty of options to chose from. TFA Swindle and Blurr looks very good and are nice tributes to their G1 counterparts. 25th Anniversary Cyclonus and Hound are simply GORGEOUS! The first being very faithful to the original and the second having a nice upgraded vehicle mode. The new Cheetor figure looks nice but that beast mode just don't look right. Love the cat face though - very show accurate (the way it should be!). And the Legend minibots are all nice. Inferno looks like a vintage figure being all boxy but I like it since its articulated.

Now some things I am wondering and/or comments:

Robot Heroes - I wonder who made the decision on how characters are paired because some of the combos looks a bit odd.

Classics (?) Starscream - what's the deal with him? A re-release or something?

Cyclonus - Is his gun a Targemaster? Also, I'd read comments he don't have peg holes on the fists. The pic is not clear but the fists looks OK to me. Long as the hands can hold a gun (i.e. Gundam) I don't mind.

Hound - Why does he have Ravage with him? I love his shoulder gun and how/where it is positioned in alt. mode.
