Ahnold had a baby in his movie "Junior," and the Wachowski Brothers now may/may not be the Wachowski Brother + Sister...

How does this translate to Transformers?

I like to think these are the crunchy bran flakes.

I'm just bemused by the two scoops of raisins everyone keeps feeding him.

Hence me trying to nip it in the bud early in this thread. A discussion is fine. But this is Tramp. You cannot have a normal conversation with him.

Superconductor, I like you and wish to subscribe to your newsletter. You also get a :word ! (and not :tldr ~)

Thanks, Alana!

To everyone:

I think there are probably ways to make the Mirage mold more "feminine", like by narrowing the shoulders somehow. I have an extra---maybe I'll try. Or maybe someone who has more time could. . .

It comes down to personal preference Siburky, not who is right or wrong.

make a poll about it trampy

On another note, as far as the "internet gangster" is concerned, I was only responding to what I thought was poor taste in a certain statement. Maybe it's not the way to conduct business around here, but if you read alot of the smart *** comments on here, you'll see mine are as mild as water. And yes, there are certaintly a lot of "internet gangsters" around here. People talk a lot of trash behind their screen, but in reality.............. :tflaugh

you can come to my house for a fight we can youtube it :P

What makes a character male or female is not their "programming" since Transformers are living organisms not mere machines. What makes a being male or female is not their personalities, That just makes them masculine or effeminate, just as you can have a very masculine woman or a very effeminate man. It is their bodies that makes them male or female. Being male or female is physical, down to the most fundamental levels, not behavioral, "masculine" and "feminine" are behavioral/cultural, but even those are dependent upon an individual being physically male or female.

No. They're not living organisms. They are robots.

"Robots in Disguise"? It's in the theme song. It's on the packaging. It was even the name of a TF cartoon series!

They are machines. Machines that have incredibly complex AI and are capable of self awarness, but machines non the less. As machines nothing about their bodies is fundamentally masculin or feminin. Their bodies are just wires, processors, conduits, etc.... It's their personalities, aka their progamming, that makes them "male" or "female."

Physically they're gender neutral.

Female TFers have always been shown to have more slending bodies (and stripper boots) because that's just an easy way to convey "this is a girl" to the franchise's primary audience, kids. It's a tool used to tell a story, not anything indictitive of a TFer being fundamentally female. A machine can't be fundamentally male or female. It's all in their programming.

***I know that this continues a discussion that we rather not have, especially one including Tramp. I posted this response because I felt like the voice of reason needed to be aired on the subject in response to Tramp's "argument."

To avoid continued public disucssion of this topic I won't respond to any response posted on this topic.

I'm always up for a good discussion, however; if Tramp really wants to respond he's invited to send me a PM. Lets keep this topic out of the public eye though.***

Toy size and character size don't always correlate. These toys are not made to scale remember? Not only that, it wasn't that he is not as "big" as the Decepticon fliers, but rather that he is not as fast or has as much firepower, thus he had to rely on skill and maneuverability instead. . His size had nothing to do with it. Besides, The larger size is definitely appropriate for an A-10 compared to the cars, though definitely not to scale. Also, given the complexity of his transformation, they would have been hard-pressed to make him a Deluxe. I like him as an Ultra.

F-15s are larger then A-10s.

I don't expect or really even want figures in perfect scale to one and other, but when you have a character like Powerglide who's characterization consists of "he's an underdog when going up against the Seekers" I think putting him in the same size class as the Seekers is the right call to make.

As for complexity of the mould, hey the designers at HasTak seem more then capable of downsizing mould.

You might want to reread what I said. I said the larger size of the A-10 is more appropriate compared to the cars, not the F-15. An A-10 is definitely larger than a sports car or semi truck. Secondly, while the F-15 is longer than the A-10 by ten feet, the A-10 has a wider wingspan by 15 feet. so, ultimately, the two aircraft are of comparable size, the F-15 is not a larger aircraft.

I know that Powerglide's in scale to the cars. I don't care about that though.

Scale's never going to be perfect. There will never be a perfectly in scale line (or even near-perfect). So jets and cars being the same size doesn't really bother me.

What I would, however, like to see is something resembling scale between figures with similar alt modes. Like Powerglide and the Seekers. The Seekers (Deluxes in the Universe Classics line) should be slightly bigger then Powerglide. With Powerglide as an Ultra in Universe Classics he's out of scale next to the Seekers. This problem is amplified when Powerglide's entire bio can be summerized as "He's an underdog when going up against the Seekers."

I rather see Powerglide in scale with Classics Starscream then Classics Bumblebee.

Oh, for the love of....why does everyone continue to reply to Tramp? Can't we just stop feeding him, please?

This. I've already yelled at him on another forum, I'm not eager to do so again.
