Sorry I going a different way, Thunderwing! in the Marvel comics

I vote OverLord, I realy like that figure, and he was alright in MasterForce.

Best Decepticon Leader other than Megatron, If you had to chose (and Megs wasn't an option)...

Shockwave. I would actually go as far as to say that he's better than Megatron most times.

Well Starscream is my favorite so I would have to pick him. But as a good leader I have to pick Shockwave. He is as strong if not stronger than Megatron and very smart.

Beast Wars/Machines Megatron...I know he's not THE Megatron, I know he's not classical, but he conquered Cybertron and stole the souls (sparks) of just about every Transformer and eventually "helped" reformat Cybertron...in a way. Don't forget how he almost rewrote Transformer history! Who can forget that awesome scene when he blasted G1 Optimus in the face! I know people may hate me for it, but beast Megatron is tops in my book...ohhh hooo yessss!!!

Without a doubt, BW Megatron kicks ass!

I thought cause of the name though(and the fact that for a short while he was kinda G1 Megatron) that he was out of the running. To this day, he's a focal point for the events in my collections ongoing stories.

Shockwave...

I like Thunderwing in the G1 Marvel comics and Jhiaxus in the G2 ones.

I think Starscream is an Autobot spy anyway.

'Struth. If you MUST have an enemy, let it be Screamer.

Beast Wars Megatron

Also, the Covenant of Primus prophesises a Megatron:

""I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come...and you will know my name is Megatron when I lay my vengeance upon you!""

Seeing as how BW Megatron is carrying the spark of G1 Megatron (thus being alpha and omega) it makes him the Megatron of prophesy. Arguably G1 Megatron took his name from this book, and thus stole his name from BW Megatron.

If we can't use any Megatrons

Shockwave + Overlord ftw
