That's a very bright blue, much brighter than G1 Prime, if I am looking at it right.

That's quite nice packaging. Is it IDW artwork?

I kind of wish they went G2 with the "shield" and had it to where it can attach to the trailer.

:nooo CHOPPED STACKS!!! :argh

"Those before the war he been a simple archivist, the power of the Autobot Matrix of Leadership Transfigured him. He became a warrior powerful enough to oppose even the unstoppable Megatron. Motivated by the love of peace and honor he had learned in his study of the history of his world."

I like the G1 show's history of him being a stevedore better than the War-Within-type background. Nothing about him seems like an archivist (of course his various portrayals don't seem to have acted like much of either whether before or after).

:nooo CHOPPED STACKS!!! :argh

Yet on the box packaging it shows non-chopped stacks... :wtf

Who says Hasbro cares about collectors? Oh well, I still have my New Year Optimus Prime.

I never had a G1 Prime, as I'm a new fan. I might get this if it isn't expensive. Have they announced a price yet?

Don't get me wrong, this is cool & all , but why not ths02?

Hasbro release THS-02? :tflaugh :tflaugh They can't even give this toy proper smokestacks. Who knows what kind of safety trouble they would have with THS-02?
