I am in shock and awe, because my piddly little podunk town has Animated on the shelves today! We picked up: V Megatron V Starscream D Bumblebee D Prowl Plus, my wife got me the Megs vs. Prime set and D Optimus Prime earlier today, but is hiding them until my birthday/Father's Day! Also available were D Blackarachnia, D Lockdown, D Ratchet, and V Bulkhead. I think that is all. I can't believe it! I guess I should tell you where, it's the Walmart in Bolivar (25 miles north of Springfield). Good luck fellas!

For most fans, space is at a premium, and yet we still keep buying the toys. You can choose to go quality, or quantity, and most of us choose the latter. So what you end up with is a wall of TFs all put on cheap bookshelves and if you knock one over, the rest will all fall like dominoes. This is not a great solution, and looks terrible. Sentinel and Piggy have both got excellent displays. Lit, custom built shelves make even a small collection look fantastic. Granted, they are very expensive, but hey, so is collecting Transformers. The display of the pieces is probably more important than the pieces themselves. Put Piggy's display of Alternators in a lit case next to a cheap steel shelving unit with rare Japanese pieces like Star Saber on it and by far, the better DISPLAY will be more impressive. If you are like me, and cost is always an issue, lit, glass shelves may not be an option. However, you can thin the display out, and show only the best. Display toys in both alt and robot modes to mix it up. If you must use cheap shelves (and I do, for sure) try to avoid 5 shelf units full top to bottom with TFs. Put books, DVDs, etc. on some of the shelves to make the display more pleasing to the eye. TFs really only show up well on the top 2 or 3 shelves anyway, unless you have under shelf lighting. I just redid my room's display, and I feel it looks pretty nice. I plan to put a row of shelves along the top of my wall soon. By mixing boxes with TFs, this should be a good way to display most if not all of my collection and still look nice. Check it out if you like in the link in my sig.

Are we talking about the Walmart on South Campbell? If so, I was there yesterday and they did have a big section of TFs but no SS. I will keep checking in there, and if I find two, Sertile, I will pick one up for you. Please do the same for me if you fidn them first!

I picked up a 2nd Titanium Rodimus adn am trading him for the Target 2 pack. Other than that, I'm just holding off on buying new toys until the huge mega movie wave comes out.

Any UM vs Skywarp sightings in SW MO? Getting desperate!

Yeah, I live in Bolivar. I think we met one day over the summer, looking for 6" Titaniums. :) I might pick up Ramjet, but I am not too impressed with Cliffjumper. As far as minibot keychains, I saw some at the Springfield WM at Bypass and Sunshine. It was the week of the bad ice storm, and I was with my dad getting groceries, so I didn't look too long. Might try to swing by to pick them up.

The Bolivar Walmart just redid their toy section recently. A full collection of Classics wave 1, plus some wave 2 as well (I snagged Jetfire when I saw him, but have seen one there since). Also, Titanium Scourge and Soundwave were there the last time I was. We have Scourge already, I don't know if I want Soundwave or not, as my TRU Soundwave just came in! I have yet to see a Titanium Jetfire or Op Op, and at last check, Target in Springfield had no UM vs Skywarp.

I forgot to post earlier, but the TRU in Springfield had a major restock. Many copies of GF Vector Prime, GF Optimus, and one BW10th OP vs Megs. Lots of Metroplex, too, in case anyway hadn't picked him up yet. There was a Titanium Megs there but I left it, and mourned that his casemate OP was gone.

Hey, are you the guy I saw a few weeks back digging in the 3" Titaniums? We talked for a bit about wanting the 6" ones. Anyway, just a thought. It was at the Bolivar Wal-mart.

Hunting for Alt Prime and Mirage, checked several walmarts and a KMart in Springfield, no luck. Anyone sen this wave of Alts in MO yet?

I got a G1 Ultra Magnus that I won on Ebay last week. He's missing a fist and the missile launchers, and I'll have to get some stickers for him, but wow he looks cool in my Primes collection! DM
