I think I fall under the 'Transform and pose, but on a consistant basis' crowd. I actually lost a girlfriend a few years back because I ''played'' with them too much. But I look down at my sig and think, "Yeah...I think I'm gonna be alright"

Awwww yeeeeah! Good to see some people are keepin' it real after all these years...not that it's wrong if you just wanna look at 'em.

 

I never could quite ween myself off of action figures...in junior high, I became self conscious and only played with my younger brothers. By the time high school came round, I was sneaking around playing with my toys while other kids my age were trying to find their dad's dirty magazines. In college, I once again became a little self conscious and started collecting only....sometimes having little battles in my apartment when no one was around. Nowadays, I hardly have time, but every now and then I still splay my various action figures around the room like a big dork and have at it! Much more fun than video games, if'n ya ask me......

 

My personal tip to youse sound FX lovers: practice your classic voices and work on new ones...it'll creep out the neighbors at the very least.

Same here.

To be honest, even as a teen - I was much more interested in posing them than playing with them. To me they are works of art, and I get plent of pleasure out of simply admiring them. So no, I don't really play with mine. Maybe that's why I prefer the BT and die-cast pieces over the plastic. For my 7yr old son, it's plastic all the way. They are definately more condusive to 'play.'

Yes I do, but very carefully!

 

I have no MISB I must open them all no matter the cost!

 

Playing: I like to shoot the missiles, roll them around, Transform them, Hold them, look at them, pose them all around my house at different times to surprise my wife, and rarely do I make some noise or voices but it has occurred.

 

Displaying: I have so many it would take at least a day for me to rearrange all of them! So I pick a shelf or two and take them down clean them with Canned Air, Feather Duster, and A Cloth then I rearrange them transform them pose them back on the shelf.
