Does anyone ACTUALLY play with their TF's???

Recommended Posts

Okay, serious question: Does anyone (and I'm talking "adult" collectors here) actually play with their toys...be they Transformers or otherwise? I suppose transforming and posing figures can technically be considering a form of playing with them, but I mean actually acting out little adventures, having little skirmishes...maybe even cooking up storylines.

Just something I've pondered secretly ever since I've slowly entered my adult stages of life. I know alot of grown-ups still collect toys, but I've wondered whether or not it was a faux pas to ACTUALLY play with them! Let me know if you think I'm a freak!

PEW PEW PEW!

I was actually playing with Predaking yesterday with my son.

When you grow up, you tend to focus more on story and characters, and less on action. But, it's still roleplaying, so 'yes' would be the answer you are looking for.

yes

Yes! And as Father Time said, I tend to focus more on story rather than just gratuituous fighting - or more accurately, weave some kind of story around the fighting. Heh. :D

Mostly I just pose and transform them, but occasionally I will move them around making laser sounds, and even act out little adventures in the vein that Goki and FT described.

I'm actually all about big, long, drawn-out action sequences. Which drives my wife nuts since my guys will end up everywhere. Dead.

how can you own such great toys and not even have the urge to set them up on a couch fort with your kids and have my wife yell at me to clean up :/

i mostly just pose and transform. every now and then i might have acouple "fight" but really, i just pose them in action stances.

i used to have huge battles when i was younger, with rid and armada mostly. but i never did much with rid because it took to long to transform them.
