For me, I LIKE the Deluxe Earthmode Prime better than Voyager or Deluxe Cybertron but I hate the battle damage, the faceplate and would like a few changes to the paint apps. I may yet get that and the Cybertron Prime to swap heads.

 

What would get my in a heartbeat would be a couple of non-battle damaged redecos of this mold. One with the actual Firetruck trailer (which he rarely uses in the show) and the faceplate down (basically headswap with Cybertron Prime, no battle damage and firetruck trailer)... and one with no battle damage and the faceplate up (essentially the two pack minus battle damage) with the G1-style semi trailer he's used on the show. And maybe a third one that's Cybertron-mode Prime with a Cybertron-trailer.

 

(I doubt we'd see trailers for the Voyager but I could see the Deluxe having a trailer at a $20-25 pricepoint.)

 

Honestly, though, I'd really like to see them go crazy with "cartoon pack" accessories options.

 

Ie. Lockdown with a full arsenal, inhibitor cuffs and poncho with Samurai Prowl at, say, a $20 pricepoint.

 

Bumblebee with a mini Sari with Optimus costume, BB's Halloween cape and a Deluxe Bulkhead with fumigation tent for $20.

 

Ratchet with his missing EMP gun, Spike, Carly and a Deluxe Wreckgar.

 

Cybertron Sentinel Major (Sentinel Prime retool) with Elita One (Arcee/Blackarachnia retool with multiple hands for different action features) and a small spider creature.

 

Soundwave in three phases (essentially the Deluxe plus two mini Soundwaves) with a mini Daniel Witwicky and machine drones.

 

Heck! Captain Fazone with a non-transforming car (the one Bumblebee scanned), Deluxe Blurr and Master Disaster.

 

And similar to the way the G.I.Joe toon pack works (where you build a MASS Device and Weather Dominator), these could have pieces you use to build an All-Spark and/or a cool, obscure Build-a-Figure (Like the Space Barnacle creature).

 

Another idea is that the various human villains could be included, one-per-set.

The main human villains in one.

 

Sumdac, Sari, Fanzone... and Spike and Daniel in the other.

 

I also wouldn't mind the non-Transforming characters like Meltdown's two TF-sized experiments, the Space Barnacle creature, the giant incarnation of the wrestler.

 

Not anything I'd spend more than $10 a piece on but they'd add flavor to a display of animated toys on the shelf, particularly if they have lots of articulation to make up for being non-TFs.

If they sold the human characters in an "Robot Heroes" style line, I'd likely buy the whole lot of 'em.

I would also really like a "clean" version of Deluxe Prime and Megatron. Knowing my luck they'll only do it after I get Voyager Prime. (-_-) I'm not going to get it if they do that - I'll just stick with my Voyager.

They should call that toy Black Widow, as a neat nod to Blackarachnia's Japanese name. :D

 

I much prefer them doing recolours/redecos as new characters instead of just shameless redecos of the same old ones. They'd better not call her something lame like "Night Attack Blackarachnia." Will the Transformers just leave the night alone?!?

I'm surprised no one's said the two most obvious ones yet.

 

Wasp and Cliffjumper. All they need are new heads.

 

As for some of the other ideas, aside from the human packs, the rest are terrible IMO. I think the line is turning out fine as it is. I generally avoid the two-packs unless there's something really really cool in it. I got the Classics Prime vs. Megs two pack because they were different molds instead of downsized molds of their regular versions. Voyager Prime is coming out in the next month to month and a half (patience is a virtue), and we all know things get spotted earlier.

 

As far as a proper Axe for Prime, maybe I'll buy the two-pack if it goes on sale or clearance. I don't want to drop twenty dollars for two toys that I want the bigger better versions of.

 

Samurai Prowl is a planned figure as far as I know. Didn't they state this at BOTCON? As far as Ratchet with his missing EMP gun, if you don't feel like giving the one Lockdown came with (they are compatable), buy another Lockdown when he goes on clearance or sale and give that one's EMP to Ratchet. Soundwave in three phases, with drones and stuff?

 

This is all getting expensive for the wallet. Thankfully Hasbro has enough sense not to do some of these ideas. They wouldn't sell well beyond the fans who truly want them for the fact that they were in say one episode of the entire series. The only trailer needed for Prime is the fire truck trailer cause of all the ones that we've seen, this one has seen the most action.

 

As for Wreck-Gar, is he a planned DLX or VYGR?
