I love how Animated acknowledged the "some characters are remolds" thing and even made it make sense (same protoform'D!). Besides the guys who've already been mentioned, I dunno. I don't really feel the need to get every one-off character they make (and make no mistake, anyone who isn't one of the ten core characters is indeed a one-off).

Personally, I prioritize the Dinobots and Ultra Magnus/Jazz* over Lugnut in Need To Own potential.

I'm just saying... not that I want to get Blitzwing, and I'm gonna pass on Megatron too.

 

I'd get Sentinel Prime because of the character, not the toy.

 

and IMO Lugnut is at least as cool as Jazz and the Dinobots, but he doesn't have the benefit of stroking the G1 fanwang.

I was not a BW fan, but I love BA which is not G1 unless you count the elita-1 connection.

 

I'd pick up a lugnut if his character was more interesting on the show...i know its ghey but its the truth. Wasp is already a lot more interesting as a toy b/c his character seems to have some value that you could carry over into the toy. lugnut is just boring in the role of absolute loyalist. like a bad :argh henchman

I think it's more that Lugnut has gotten less screen time than anyone else. I think he's teh cool, when he shows up.

I would love to see all the human characters like Sumdac, Sari, Capt.Fanzone and the S.U.V. villians (I would be great since the cartoon is being made by the same people who made Teen Titans, Hasbro should do them), also a repaint of Bumblebee into Wasp, Cliffjumper and/or the first animated of Bugbite.

Rodimus Maximus idea of a build Allspark or build a figure is wondeful. ;)

personally, I'll only get a toy if it looks cool to me, that's why I'm avoiding most of the main characters. I have my list down to 11 of the forthwith announced toys... only got 2 so far :(

I'm avoiding this line for the most part due to my dislike of the aesthetic, but I'm contemplating picking up Lugnut. I like his character that much.

 

As for repaints/remoulds, the only one I would buy would be Wasp(inator). I'm not even impressed with the Bumblebee toy, but I'd get a repainted Wasp version with a new head in a heart beat.

Oil Slick as Cy-Kill (from GoBots) would probably give many fans a serious case of schoolboyish giggling! Do it Hasbro...you made Classics Mirage into a Crasher homage...why not?

 

May as well place bets on Hasbro eventually doing a Beast Wars color version of Black Arachnia, too.
