Sandstorm as the Jeep? BRILLIANT!!! I love that mold, and SS was a cool ass character. Kind of a thrill seeking X-games kinda dude. Sunstreaker, you betcherass, although Octane as the S2000? Cant see that one. Blaster or Swoop either.

Very good and well thought-out ideas! I wish though that Prowl, Silverstreak, and Smokescreen could have all been 350Z's. The little Bodycount on my shoulder is telling me to get over it and enjoy the Subaru mold but I can't help it!

You and me both, bro. I desperately love 350z's and hate ANY 4 door sedan period. That includes Cliffjumper as a Neon. That would fit Bumblebee better since they are both suck. :puke

Can we please stop equating "four doors" with "sedan" or "grocery getter"? Four doors makes a car a sedan about as much as two doors makes it a sports car. Anyway, the Impreza WRX is a sweet ride.

For my money, it's all worth it once you see Silverstreak in his robot mode -- he is an absolutely beautiful update of the G1 figure. I still think it's the best Alternator mold ever.

P.S. Bumblebee is AWESOME. :D He was a little guy, but never acted like one. Cliffjumper, on the other hand, was a bit of a doofus. :P

I know that sedans and coupes are not based on number of doors (interior space not door number). I'm the one who was going to turbocharge my 4 door Accord before the wreck. Outrider74 is a good guy but please don't lump me into the same "sedan hating" group as him. I love cars no matter the openings! (Think back the the Skyline date months ago) Here's proof ~>

His car mode looks ridiculous because it has 4 freaking doors!!!!! NO he's no Skyline! This ugly piece of crap doesnt even have the right to WISH he was a car as badass as a Skyline!

Can you count the doors on this Skyline? Let's try together...1, 2, 3, 4! See that wasn't so hard :thumb

That was taken from the "Jump Sideswipe, Jump" thread by Moribundus VII. As you can see he (Outrider74) has hated 4 doors for quite a while.

BTW...I've got my Alt. Smokescreen and Alt. Silverstreak posed next to their G1 Reissue counterparts. They are awesome figures, I just thought it would be good to use the Fairlady/350Z because that was what the originals were.

was smokescreen ever a 350Z in the original G1 series? don't think so; he may have the same transformation scheme as bluestreak, but not the same alt mode.

Well, there were no 350Z yet but they (Smokescreen included) were all FairladyZ's, Smokescreen was just a racing model. The real-life car he was based on was a beast. In America they were Datsun/Nissan 240, 260, 300 and such. Here's a pic of the Diaclone one and you can read the car model on the box.

Actually, four doors and a trunk DO make a sedan. And two doors DO make a coupe, but not necessarily a sports car. Sure, there is such a thing as a 2 door sedan, but nowadays thats referred to as a coupe. My argument against 4 doors is that they ruin the style of any car and add nothing to performance. You wanna be comfortable, and have convenience? Buy a Buick. As for performance and style, they have to go hand in hand, so make mine a 2-door every time.

How about Ironhide as a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter ;);)

We (LM & Me) were trying to technically correct. My dad has a 1950 Ford sedan. It has two doors and a trunk. It has more room in it than a van. As a one time reader of R/T, M/T, Autoweek, C&D, Turbo, Import 2nr, Sport compact car, Automobile, and several others every month I have heard the correction many times (interior space not door number). Also the one about a BMW Motorcycle being a Beemer, not the car (a Bimmer).

i hope the idea of the neon dies its a pile of crap a str4 would be better but its still crap

i was hoping that iron hide would be a mitzi ls200 warrior (biggass pick up) but a ram or lightning would be cool

as for the 4 door thing its just the number of doors yes that mean more whight but its spread more even then other cars
