Those who complain about the price don't have a clue about development costs I guess. Why do you think CM's will be selling the new Dancouga Nova $600? Or that super complex (and extremely limited) S.H.E figures are selling for $300, $400, $800? If you want $10 generic toys, you have Hasbro. If you want something unique, complex, well-designed, exclusive, etc... I think you get the point.

you mean if I want real transformers I have Hasbro :tflaugh BTW from an economics stand point, these scratch builders would make more money selling their kits to a larger company like hasbro or takara who could mass produce them, sell them for cheaper and sell a hell of a lot more.

Development costs is one thing, but there is no way you can get to a price of 500 dollar aiming at breaking even.

Anyway, whoever came up with that $500 price tag got that price out of his ass. Like I said, Wheelie and Cyclonus are selling for $200 or less.

This thing will never have an official after market value. It is not a transformer. So how can you refer to it as a "limited piece"? A limited piece of nothing is nothing.
