after actually getting a few binaltech with diecast i was so disappointed on how loose their joints were right out of the misb. and the painted metal didn't match the plastic as well... they looked inconsistent.

i sold my alts, with no regrets. And I feel no need for these, but seriously isn't it time for some new molds or something?

For the love of my wallet; NO! Not to mention the 'I already own these TWICE'-factor.

Or, at least not early molds that have had multiple releases already.

 

 

I'd bet that TakTom isn't going to bother licensing any newer cars unless Hasbro is involved, since I think it's the US market that necessitates it.

If they had done up Bluestreak in a more Diaclone-y fashion, I might be more interested.

Right, that's what Binaltechs are. And I'd rather spend $55 on die-cast BT's than $75 on all-plastic KISS Players.

And I'd rather spend $25 on all-plastic Alts.

 

I like the plastic ones better AND they're cheaper.

 

I still would much rather have an Alt Battle Ravage than my Binaltech Battle Ravage.

After having played with both I prefer the diecasts. They are more solid in their transformations. I transform them all the time without any issues. I love the weight and feel of it. It makes it less of a "toy" and more of a collector's item. The color is amazingly different too. It gives the figures a totaly cool effect in the paint that the plastic ones can't. I'm only Familiar with the RX-8 models though. I have no interest in any other except battle ravage (trying to get a Nemesis prime head for it) to finish off the piston side.

 

I bought the Red and white ones when they had just come out. Recently added Laserwave and Autorooper and another rotary to the collection. I'm waiting for the new repaint to come out so I can add it to the collection and get the white one out to join them. I dislike the KISS figure because the plastic doesn't fit ans snugly as the Binaltechs.

 

I Hope they change the head on the new silver version. The white version will always be the Jazz/Meister so we can only hope it's different. If not? well, thanks for the rotary toys. Harder and harder to come by these days.
