However, I'm not so sure this is "reviving a great line" as much as "milking a dead horse."

How do you milk a horse? :07laugh

I purposely mixed some metaphors there...

The phrase "I've got nipples, can you milk me" crosses my mind right about now.

BTW I'm still waiting on Caddy Megs. It would be kewl if he was the XLR.

Update: BBTS has them listed for $54.99 apiece. Does this count as verification?

I preordered :redface

I seem to recall BBTS having listings for other things that never came to pass (such as that "Mini Cooper" BT if I remember correctly).

EDIT: I just got an email from BBTS that says they confirmed this from Takara; however, for some reason they seem to believe that these will be all plastic with no die-cast (but state they haven't confirmed that bit yet).

Something makes me think I'm going to end up buying these anyway despite their inherent craptacularity. :redface

If'n yer gonna milk a mold, it'd be best to do new characters. I dunno, take that Subaru, throw a con symbol on it and call it Thundercracker.

However, I'm not so sure this is "reviving a great line" as much as "milking a dead horse."

I've got nipples, Focker, can you milk me?

im happy about these...i need new bodies im running out of transformers to kitbash.

These would have been cool 4 years ago.

Man, anyone ever notice corndogs get smaller and smaller? I'm shocked there's even meat in them anymore!

OH!

Pass on these 2, don't need the mold for the Nth time.

I wish they'd resculpt Jazz/Meister's head. (Not neccesarily to movie style) The meister model is probably the best thought out of the entire series. Not only one of the best bot modes, but the only vehicle mode that really manages to conceal all of the robot ellements (except the hands- but those blend in reasonably well).

My gripe with the mold is that the head and limb sculpts got MUCH better later in the line. Compared to mirage, skids, starscream and optimus prime he looks a little like a playschool toy. Since it appears to be the same mold, I've already got it in white and red.

:word i've been looking for a bumblebee like head for a while... trot out some new heads at least...
