I thought I heard that Megs wasn't getting a figure... guess I was wrong.

If they were smart, they'd use the Super Link mold with a slightly remolded head.

You mean the small version?

Yes, the Mega/Ultra size one.

The TRU version that was packed with the Mini-Fattimus Prime?

Wow.......this set has to be the biggest pile of steaming dog crap I've ever seen.

I love the GF Starscream mold.

I love Jetfire. Period.

They've somehow managed to create a combonation of the two that I wouldn't buy at retail price, let alone the obscene "bend them over without any lube" markups coming from our friendly BotCon crooks......er.....proprietors.

Jazz....crappy colors, crappy deco, crappy mold.

Grimlock.......Grimlock is not Trypticon. TRYPTICON is TRYPTICON. Just because you give purple to a dinosaur doesn't make him evil.

Buying $300 worth of fresh cow manure would make my transformer collection more attractive than this set.

I will send you a BotCon toy for a picture of fresh cow manure sitting on your shelf with your collection...

No thanks - like I said, the set you crooks are conning people into buying this year is LESS attractive than cow manure, so I see no point in going and getting it, then putting it on my shelves just to get toys that look worse than the cow crap, sent to me.

And the whole offer to send a botcon toy to me just for a photo.......ya know, that kinda shoots full of holes your incessant claims that these things are so uber expensive to produce, and you just HAVE to charge a markup in the range of hundreds of percent.........and calls into question the real popularity of the set, if you have extra toys to send off for pictures of cow crap.

Oh, I know how you feel about this years set. I was going to send you one of the hundreds of Thundercrackers I have stored away. I mean, as crooks, we of course get these produced at about a dime each and sell them at this huge mark up because we like to stick it to those who support us.

Yes, this comment was tongue in cheek just like my other post...

Seriously though, the set as a stand alone is very cool imo BUT added with the Souveniers it will all come together. Hope those who have purchased it and/or are coming to the show really enjoy it all!

as a reminder I CAN LOCK THIS THREAD AND WARN EVERYONE IN IT

let us all try to be more civil ok

I haven't really replied to any of these Botcon threads, but I really like the Optimus and Goldbug figures. For one, I think Classics Voyager Prime is probably my favorite TF Figure. He's simple, but an extremely solid figure. I have both he and the Magnus repaint, and I absolutely love them, so in my eyes, even the Evil Prime looks pretty damn good. As generic and cliche as it kind of is, I even like the Black and purple colors. I think what disappoints me more is that they just recolored the faction symbols, since I think the Autobot symbol and Decepticon symbols look too good and evil, respectively, to simply represent the other faction accurately by just switching the colors.

For Goldbug, I like the colors a lot, and I though the Excellion mold was pretty cool to begin with. Maybe not the best mold ever, but still decent enough. The thing with him is he looks so much like the upcoming movie Stealth Bumblebee repaint that I can't really see the warrent in running right out and paying exorbant prices for him.

The only way I'd ever get any of these figures, however, even the two above, is if I found them at a decent price. I doubt that's ever going to happen though. I have little interest in exclusives who's sole purpose of existing is simply to get huge profits off of fans who have a weakness for that...

Maybe you should try a different approach with your posts. Obviously people are going to Starscream about this stuff and it's something you have to accept. For representing the official convention and fan club, I find your attitude sickening. I may have said as much in the past but I can't understand why you must continue to egg people on with your posts when it's not necessary. You may be joking but it is still uncalled for IMO. You're not doing anything to get people to support BotCon and the club with your attitude.

Maybe you should try a different approach with your posts.

Well, when you are called a "crook" I think it is fair to respond to those kind of ridiculous comments in the same manner, with a ridiculous response. Personal attacks are not cool, and official or not, I feel those type of comments should be addressed. I have read both praises and complaints and I understand if people don't like the set, but again, personal attacks are different.

The fact is I was not egging him on nor did I did not attack him, I just put the comment in context. Respect truly is a two way street.
