By the way, I don't particularly see this one hitting 30+ pages like last years.

Okay, that one was actually funny.

For all the hate, I want to applaud the BotCon people for creating a set that's both interesting and not an OMG I MUST HAVE set. This is, IMO, the perfect BotCon set. Kudos.

Starfire?

Goldbug has better colors than Cybertron Hot Shot.

Now watch the will show Megatron in Primes color scheme a Blue and red.... :tftongue

But its good to see that this yet again another set of none shelf warming figures.... Good Job Botcon. Now just lower the price of the set and I might actually want it.

I'm guessing Megatron will be still be the traditional silver and black, but the red will replaced by blue. As for which mold, it's a mystery. IMO both Armada and Energon Megs look to "evil" to be used as good guys, even with new paint jobs. Cybertron Megs would work, but I think he's too big for the part.

Classics Voyager Megs maybe?

I like Prime and Grimlock quite a bit. The other two not so much, but that's more the mold's fault than the paint.

you make a good point... what would an "good" megatron mode be? wheelie? or even make him from classics bumblebee with a 4th color scheme and a new head? probably will end up being something from cybertron not preciously used as megatron...

I like Prime. I like Goldbug. Jazz is to G1 to really fit in with this group. He doesn't feel evil, which is a shame since he has an awesome head sculpt. Grimlock isn't very exciting. I think he should've been red with black highlights. Starscream with a Jetfire paint scheme feels uninspired. I would've prefered an original paint scheme.
