Transformation isn't hard, but make sure to follow it carefully and not to put excess pressure on the parts. The mold is a bit more fragile than ideal... but it's still an awesome fig and my favorite Masterpiece (well... Walscream is, but same difference). Just wish it had more accessories.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Brown seat "leather" matches Mp Magnus' P-38 handle for a reason :D

Other than size, are the MP Seekers really better than the Classics Seekers in any significant way?

Yes - they do look a lot better in both modes and obviously feature more articulation and incredible detail in their sculpting, stickers etc. They also have heaps of other details like the radar dome inside the nosecone, landing gears, air brake, articulated vector thrusters, wing flaps et al.

 

Having said that, the Classics (and Robot Masters) Sky Raiders are better action figures. The MP Sky Raiders are beautiful display pieces, but sh!thouse play toys.

 

In terms of hardiness, "Greenscream" is the weakest, but they are strong with each successive version - Skywarp is hardier than TAK Starscream and HAS Starscream is a bit more hardier than Skywarp (although my HAS Starscream has weakest fingers for some reason).

 

HAS Starscream has the best looking (and most G1-accurate) looking Dr. Archeville figure. TAK Starscream's Archeville gets mistaken for being a Nebulan and Skywarp's Archeville keeps getting pulled over by American police officers. :P

Hey, I have plenty of fun playing with my MP Walscream. Just wish he had firing missiles like Classics Screamer.

MP Skywarp is a great piece, unless you like to play with your toys, then he falls a bit short. While not entirely G1 accurate (the lack of purple) he is still awesome. But just as the others have said be careful with his transformation so as not to damage the wings.

Just ensure to apply the stickers to achieve a more G1 accurate figure. MP Skywarp in his natural state is VERY black. Without the stripes and whatnot, he looks like an F-15 mated with a Stealth Fighter, which looks pretty awesome as it is, but it depends on whether or not you want a more show accurate figure or are happy to leave him looking like a ninja :P

 

But mostly yeah, be careful with the wings, I've not had any trouble with my MP seekers, but I hear a lot of people manage to break their's so be warned.

shows the best way to transform the Screamer and Skywarp. Pay attention to when he's doing the wings, you'll see he pulls the airbrake up, I think he explains it as he does it to but I'm too lazy to watch it. :P
