Can't you look for yourself? There must some sort of hobby, art & craft, or hardware store where you live.

Yes, there is. One. And it is useless. The only other hardware store is a DIY home supplies store, nothing else for hobbyists. And since many products in the US are given different names over here i more than likely wouldnt be able to find this JB weld stuff anyway.

This is why i buy everything i need online. The UK is a useless country.

Sonray, i would just take F_R advice on the glue. I'm still new at this and I mostly make my customs for myself. besides, you two sell your stuff from time to time. I don't need to worry about mine coming apart because I can fix it. but they haven't yet :) I think I'll try that JB weld stuff too though. you might have some more luck just starting a "what glue do you use" thread around here. I'm sure several members will submit some input.

Wikkid, super cool getting a compliment from you! your customs have been quite the inspiration. thanks.

you don't have eBay in the UK? ...rofl

Yeah, of course we do. When was ebay part of the discussion though? If its regarding ordering stuff i already explained that i can rarely afford to order stuff online because of the insane shipping prices people like to charge these days.

you said originally you don't have access to certain items, so I'm trying to help you out. Talked to a friend in UK, and it appears JB weld is for sale in most automotive stores there. By why go out when you can have it shipped to your door...

http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll...satitle=JB+weld

looks cheap to me.

honestly, kitbashing and repainting is just NOT a cheap hobby. I can easily spend hundreds on this stuff, and there's always better products I should be buying.

EDIT: really sorry to derail the thread, but some people don't listen.

Back on topic, this custom is unbelievable, and i want to see more pics ASAP!!

That looks AWESOME Wheeljack-!! A character who just doesn't get the attention he probably should have. Keep it up!

And I also like how you paint as you go--I can understand that one..Just getting that taste of the finished piece as you go and all. It's more fun.

Hard to listen when theres nothing to listen to...

This was the first constructive post you have made during this discussion, apart from of course saying that JB weld is good and only costs 3 bucks in the US the latter of which being useless info to me as prices from the US to the UK vary widely and what would only cost $3 in the US will cost double or triple that in the UK.

Case in point, a random auction from the page you linked me too results in the JB weld costing nearly $12 for me, which is currently much more than i can afford. However now i know what it looks like so if i see the stuff in a store for a lower price (as they wont be charging for shipping) i can buy it so thanks for that info at least Frenzy.

I am more than aware that this hobby is expensive, but it can also be made a bit cheaper if you learn to compromise and use some initiative make do with what you've got. And since i really enjoy this hobby, i dont intend on letting a little thing like money get in the way of it, as unlike most i NEED this hobby to keep my mind from throwing myself into a bus.

Sonray, have you got no kb experience? the plastic weld can be bought in every scalebuilding store,(try to find one specialized in trains and 1/21 scaled cars.)

And you say the uk sucks, but you haven't even seen holland,we get almost zero transformers here,we could only dream of the classics magnus/skywarp pack being sold here, but ALL i got in my part of holland was the "ultimate battle" pack. which was an absolute disgrace to transformers.Your painting isn't really good either, though that's just a matter of using the right kind. when you're looking for the plastic weld, ask for some tamiya spraypaints. trust me,you won't be dissapointed by those.
