Bay To Throw Fanboys Off Real "Transformers 2" Scent

Recommended Posts

IMO, I think I would have liked the movie a lot better when it came out if I had been spoilered as little as possible. All he's trying to do is protect everyone who wants to experience the sequel without a handful of f*cks helping to spoil it.

And I'm not sure how this really helps fans who do want to see it. Not all of them will have your fortitude for remembering it's all misdirection.

That's why I'll always be there to remind them. :mwahaha

Deadpool - Bay can't stop leaks, so the best way to counteract those leaks are to set up a bunch of fake leaks and false information. I personally don't care. On the first movie scripts we were given AKA Names and some scenes that were never put in to the films. So it doesn't seem like some big deal to me. It's like the first movie, but he's stated openly "Hey guys, head's up, I'm purposely gonna keep you off-balance for a while." He isn't saying "Powerglide you bunch of Pretenders, I'm gonna screw these fanboys but good this time!!"

I think some of you misunderstood me. I never said he can stop "all leaks". All I said was that he can tighten it so that perhaps the more important ones are not blurred out so early. There has to be some leaks whether intentional or not.

My main problem is this, if he actually makes up something false, which actuallly would of been cool to have seen on screen. And then we don't see it. Is one thing that a fan speculates and is blowig air out of his ass, its another that the persons actually making the movie deceives you. Becuase one kind of relies they are telling the truth and depend on them to know how the movie is going to be.

I don't really care, didn't look at spoilers anyway... Never do, I wanna just see what happens, otherwise what's the point in going to see it anyway?

I stayed away from all of the spoilers. Didn't read them, didn't read the script, or anything. Surprising, really, considering.

Well there are two ways to look at this for me personally...

1.) As someone hinted at, this may be total flub Bay is talking, to make it seem like the info we're gonna be gtting could be false or real. He could just be saying this to put us on guard and there is no real false information coming. This is just his way to start disabling all the 'this and that' BS talk the fandom did the first time around that he and the producers and the studio are worried will happen again. Also, I'll say that Dreamworks could have told Bay to make this statement and it wasn't his personal idea. Just saying is all.

2.) He is telling the truth and there will be several false reports and scripts coming to throw us off. If this is true, I don't think it'll be amazingly devastating to the fandom, due to the fact that AKA Names were used in the first movie, 2 TFs were known to have been directly cut out, and several scenes never happened or where changed greatly for the movie by the time it actually finished up. I mean if I hear about an awesome scene where Skywarp teleports into the middle of a firefight between Grimlock and Soundwave that never happens. Meh, oh well, because I'm sure whatever does truly happen in the movie will be cool. I mean I'll live through hearing false info. The first movie had multiple reports that turned out to not be true (such as the Fake Fan-Written Script, the false-inclusion of the Autobot Twins, and the rumor of more Flashbacks on Cybertron).

Why is this news? Im not mocking the OP im stating that about 3 months ago we got a poetic riddle with the sound of similar to ..

In the future we will tell the truth with a lie.

The lie maynot be truthful.

Truthful can be lies.

Truth can be deceit.

And that was the Writers. Is it that Bay has said it too that seems to confirm it? Just curious and by no means pissin on a hornets nest.

*"Spoilers" includes seeing any and all robot designs prior to the film...(except of course when toys and merch started showing up)

Ooooohhh.....well in that case, I was spoiled immensely. No plot points, though, so I was at least surprised in that aspect.
