Looks good but why are you painting the windshield?

Classics Wheeljack WIP, the TFTM Big Daddy head was a perfect fit for this mold, and he can make for a really doable Wheeljack. I was originally going to use colored electrical tape for the decals, but, not sure how well that'll work, so, may have to go back to painting. We'll see.

How did you attach the head, since Downshift/Big Daddy has a swivel joint instead of ball joint? I ended up cutting a square out of Sunstreaker's neck platform and implanting Downshift's.

As for the painting, looks good so far! :thumb

To emulate G1 Wheeljack.

Yeah, I wanted the rounded window of the Gen-1 look. As for the head, I just cut the top of the ball joint flat, and trimmed it's sides, so it in turn became a swivel joint, and then just widened the whole at the base of the head. It turns 180 degrees and fits perfectly. For transforming, you just turn the head backwards.

Spencer from Ages3&Up commissioned me to do a Powered Convoy from the Classics Prime figure. Now, I don't have a Powered Convoy to go off of, but I know he's blue to the regular red. What I don't know is, the legs, feet, hand and head..What colors are they? The Gen-1 toy looks to be the same blue of the Gen-1 Prime, but, the customs I've seen people make, they seem to go all black, not the dark blue..Does anyone know ?

Googled, and here's what I found.

I googled it too, I still can't tell..Is that a black or a dark blue?

It looks black to me. Although it could be a dark navy blue.

*edit after scrolling back up I see that the tires are the same color as the legs so I'm sure they are black.

Here is a link to the article the pic was from.

That looks great now if only Fansproject would release the Powered Convoy color of their City Commander armor. :tfgrin

I never even thought about that. Then again, I had already replaced Streaker's neck with a smaller one to fit e-Downshift's head, before I thought about c-Downshift, so...yeah. :P :tflaugh
