I don't know if the cartoons, Superlink and Energon have gotten as far as to develope the new personality and powers of this new reborn starscream. I don't have cable so I can't see the cartoons.

So I was hoping that some of you that have been following the show could talk about the new Energon Starscream; his personality, his new powers, is he a loner now, what have the writers done to starscream.

This is my favorite Energon Figure and his file card shows that he has some promise.

So I hope there have been enough episodes to start a discussion on the guy......

Starscream is a pretty neat charecter. Unlike past Starscreams, he is loyal and obediant. He originally worked for Alpha-Q and was loyal to them until he was convinced by Megatron to rejoin the decepticons. Nowadays he is alot like a ninja. Silent and deadly. Like the phantasim he is.

Can he make doubles of himself? I recently aquiered Nightscream and I am wondering if I should sell SS?

He can cloak himself and "warp" from place to place (which kinda makes it seem like he was misnamed...)

The best Transformer in this series. Very mysterious but his loyalty is there. I still believe that once he regains his memory, in the series, that he will pretty much be heavily against MEGATRON. I think that he pretty much can possibly be the strongest CYBERTRONIAN there. STARSCREAM was able to go toe to toe with POP OPT in SUPERMODE. Not too sure about making multiples of himself but I do think STARSCREAM seems to have all the powers of the other seekers, SKYWARP and THUNDERCRACKER. What do you all think? :tftongue

Convinced, I would rather say tortured into obedience by doing a quite good job of mind-messing.

obediance and loyalty to megatron bothers me.........

I'm hoping that changes soon.

the cool part is that it sounds like his crappy personality is gone and I hope for good; I was probibly the only tfan who just didn't get why a whiny pesky backstabber was so popular with other TFans, also his colors where always lame.

what about starscreams relationship with energon..........I hope someone has some insight into this.

my guess is that starscream is a walking renewable energon source...

tis why the figure does not come with an energon chip to make his weapons.

I would like to see starscream go out on his own FOR GOOD and take slugslinger as his hinchman.

I love mercenary characters and transformers have yet to produce a character and figure that fits that bill. I hope this new starscream become the new transformer mercenary ala boba fett style.

one last request; what would starscreams list of powers be.

that is all.

Starscream most likely will never explore what happened in Armada. He's loyal because Megatron completely reformatted his spark. He doesn't have memories of who he is. He's basically a new character.

well, if thats the case, wouldn't the bio that came with starscream have any baring on the characters future.

first off, it is stated that starscream has to deal with some personality conflict of either being a good guy or a bad guy.

then, i'm guessing this might have been a spoiler, strangly it is stated that starsceam is a danger to all that oppose him including megatron which to me means that there will be this big fight where megatron will lose.

which leads to the stuff like rank and strength being either off the charts or n/a.

if starscreams spark has been reconfigured cool, but I think that something that powerfull will only tollerate being a gopher to megatron for so long.

I think you have to take the bio-cards with a grain of salt. For instance, Rodimus' bio claims he is a "wild, rebellious young Autobot and foreman to the Omnicons" - and on the show he is an ancient hero that appears to have led the Autobots prior to Optimus.
