* points out yet again that Prime was ready to sacrafice bumblebee with every intention on completing the mission at hand. He's already accepted the fact that some may not come back alive.

 

I assume he took Jazz being torn in half as how a leader would take one of his own going down. It's not like he's going to do a giant Vader no as the shot zooms out into space or anything. Prime isn't emo. The job was done, thats all that matters.

 

I didn't really care too much for Jazz in the movie though.. he just seemed sorta "there" .. what little wasn't taken between Prime and Bumblebee, Ironhide and Ratchet had something witty to say. Jazz just had cool animation.

 

But thats just my statements on this whole thing.

 

I have a feeling Jazz will come back anyway.. and hopefully he'll do more than just dance around in the background. =P

Yeah, but to me, Jazz was a bot of action - everything he did was with a movement or action that defined who he was: slide-transforming to attack Devy-Brawl, breakdance-transforming, hopping and moving with grace and agility, evne right from the start.

As for his persona - You know he's courageous when he stands to fight Megatron one on one, you know he has a sense of humor with his intro line of "What's crackin' lil' Protectobots?", and you know he is Prime's Second-in-Command and has the right to question Prime's orders (which he does twice and get backed up by Ironhide the 2nd Time).

About Jazz's death... I found kind of funny because Optimus Prime was holding two halves of his body, and he only says "awww Jazz". I just thought Optimus Prime would have more to say about him.

 

Does anyone else think it was kind of funny with the whole death scene? I mean if I would never see humans holding two halves of a deceased comrade and say "awww Johnny".

We know the G1 relation between Prime and Jazz, but the movie go'ers have no clue. Jazz could have been random army dude 01 or whatever. Also take in account that we're looking from the G1 POV and this is the movie, who's characters and events are unrelated. For all we know Jazz and Prime hardly knew each other.

2. Fine, autobots destroy evil decepticons without the all spark... WHY THE HELL ARE THE CONS HERE? To sign up for a Transformers sequel...LOL

Anyway, you can't change the movie, the movie was fantastic and all characters, regardless of their role were FANTASTIC!!!

Actar is correct. Without the Allspark, the Decepticons would have had no reason to come to earth, nor would the Autobots. They would have continued fighting on Cybertron. The Allspark is what drew the Transformers to Earth in the first place.

Unless they blew that sh*t up and had to take refuge somewhere else- hence "their war, our world." The plot is fine as it is, it just wouldn't be difficult to absolve the Allspark from the movie if needed.
