I could've sworn I posted up the Orci interview ... ah well, Orci says that you'll find out more about Barricade in the next movie.

*goes and reads post movie interview* I knew I shouldn't have passed it up when I first saw it.

Hello fellow fans. I've seen the movie four (4) times now, and I can say without a doubt that Barricade dies during the course of the movie. It happens during the climax, when Sam is running with the Allspark. At one point Ironhide jumps in front of Sam "Look out Sam!!!" and proceeds to slam the absolute hell out of a police car and Blackout transforms and flies over Sam's head. That police car began to transform midslam, thus indicating that it was Barricade. The reason I didn't notice it the 1st time was because (like everyone I assume) I was focused on Blackout. It also goes a long with solidifying Ironhide as A1 frontline badass of the film, although Prime was a friggin' combat Jesus. Hope this clears stuff up a little for you guys!

If you were paying attention, you'd notice that the car that gets blown up has different colored rims than Barricade. The blown up car has chrome rims with five spikes; Barricade's rims are powder black with 8-10 spikes. Someone on another board also pointed out that the car that gets blown up was a front-wheel drive model on account of the CV joint and drive axle being attached to the wheel that goes flying; Mustang's are rear-wheel drive. In other words... no, that wasn't Barricade.

Ja... Barricade was taken down by Ironhide, but not killed. He, Scorponok and Starscream are MIA.

We could just wait until the next movie and see...

We could just wait until the next movie and see...

Logic... it's a wonderful thing.

Yes, but it then takes all the fun out of possible and utter random thoughts that we may have until the sequel.

So while logic is a wonderful thing indeed, let's not all go Shockwave on ourselves and just have some fun :07laugh

Um well I just read the 4th movie comic last night and it is very clear Barricade is dead. Well he was beheaded if that didn't kill him I don't know what would. After all that's how Prime killed Bonecrusher.
