Yes, but we've seen Prime say all of that in 86 many many times already.. I think it was a nice touch showing over shadows of the two and focusing on Sam.. because anyone who's seen the original toon movie will know and say "Oh Blot, he's serious now.." .. to me it almost felt like I was watching an alternate universe prime duking it out in simular style as the one in 86.

To add to what DMV2 said, The saw Mikela used is for cutting metal. Remember, that fight took place in a junk yard. A place like that would definately have saws designed for cutting metal. As for why Frenzy didn't kill Sam? That is easy. The Decepticons wanted the glasses Sam owned, and needed him alive in order to get them. Frenzy was trying to capture and interrogate him as Barricade had tried to do earlier.

 

Hmm, I guess you've got a point there. I know these issues of mine aren't big deals that will ruin the movie or anything, but when I saw them they just kind of bothered me. But oh well, it's still a good movie and all.

 

As far as the quotes go, it WAS rather lame what was on screen when those lines were said, especially "one will stand...". That was kind of a letdown.

 

And as for my name, call it whatever you want. Dots, silence, whatever. The idea was that there isn't a name at all. I simply didn't feel like coming up with a username, so there isn't one.

Its only artistic if EVERYONE in the world has seen the original movie fifty times. If not its called an audio cheat. It is a sign of poor directing and or editing. Both moments are obvious symptoms of Bay not giving two sh-ts about non human characters. They were afterthoughts. So much so, he couldn't be botherd to storyboard their dialogue. Jerk was just there for the paycheck. He phoned it in and it shows from start to finish.
