well, what about the president asking for "Ding-dongs" in a clear Dubya tone of voice. That one was as clear as crystal. That and the secretary of defense handling everything while all the president did was send out troops.

I think this film will get into the fresh column. It deserves it. There will be some bitter wags out there who thrive on pseudo-clever insults that they mistake for a review (is it hypocritical that such a statement of mine came out so similarly bitter?)

The only thing he had bad to say was the overall running time.

 

Bottom line though & this surprised me as well is the movie knows what it is, & rather than taking itself 100% seriously Bay just has fun with it straight through. For that alone the movie the movie succedes.

I love how the reviewer went on about this being really no different than any other film he's done. Robots in heroshots against the sun Bad Boys style. I almost want to cry but apparently it works. :07redface

By the end of the weekend we should have a pretty good idea where the percentage is gonna end up at.

All I can say is thank god it's finally being reviewed. I was starting to worry it was one of those movies the studio was afraid to screen for critics prior to opening... and I think we all know what that means.

 

Anyway, this is good news. It means they have faith in it, which is encouraging.

I have no idea why PCs do that. Not screening a film is worse publicity for a movie than anything critics could say.

If you read those two reviews you'll notice how it seems an angry child wrote them. They're not objective at all and they go on blasting how everything sucks. The one review the guy talks about Godzilla and other movies for half of the review, not very good, and the other guy just has a vendetta against Transformers. How they can review movies is beyond me. They seem to be joke writers.

 

I hope all further rotten reviews are objective and actually try and explain why they felt the movie was bad. I also hope the fresh reviews are objective and explain why they felt it was a good movie.
