Poop.

Once, in the 4 years I've been collecting I have only seen a kid buy transformers because his parents turned him onto it.

I have mostly seen empty ails or adults buy.

Just the other day at Target a kid was showing his mom the Deluxe Bumblebee he wanted so she got it for him. Kids buying TF's is alive and well and how old are we again? :tflaugh

seen a kid buying a LoC classic the other day i think it was fireflight and i seen some kids playing with the movie helmits not long ago

Hell, on two different accounts, I've seen little girls, around 7-8 years old, making a beeline for the TF section at TRU all excited-like.

I have seen kids with TFs in line next to me with their parents and they look at me like i am a nut

I get funny looks from parents* but did they ever think that I might be buying a toy as a birthday present for a sibling?

*Youd swear I was using them to goad kids into the back of my van

It's all the fault of the show "Without a Trace". They have one episode where they suspect someone of using their Transformers collection to abuse children. They even went so far as to say that "collecting toys isn't a hobby". Ofcourse, the collector wasn't even the right guy and was completely innocent. But parents only remember the accusation and not the real truth. This one episode did huge damage to our reputations as collectors.

As for kids buying Transformers, I think the movie has peaked interest. Though I remember seeing alot of interest for Energon too, but that was around Xmas time anyway and there's always a spike in kid interest at Xmas.

I know that my God Daughter is insane on them and she lives 1500 miles from me. LOL! Her dad is a good influence. :thumb

Who would have guessed that her favorite character would be Megatron? SHE'S FOUR! :tflaugh

There's gotta be something said about having a giant arm cannon and changig into a gun.

i saw a kid getting the classic minicon predator set the other day whilst i was checking out the tf section.

I work at a Target... I see it frequently.
