Which version of Prime is more to scale with the other autobot toys?

Recommended Posts

now now. I think they're both nice. Leader Prime has the kick ass articulation and lack of a gigantic shell forming backpack, and Voyager Prime (or as I call him Prime lite, just one calorie, just not the same) tastes great, but is less filling. he can get into smaller spaces, and is good for perspective shots where prime has to seem like he's really far away, or maybe shrunk by some sinister decepticon device. same goes for the Legends prime. FAB prime is just bizarre.

Now I gotta step in- I really like FAB Prime. I bought him because he's closer in scale to Bonecrusher, so I could recreate the infamous highway fight scene. Their vehicle modes aren't quite in scale, as FAB OP is too big, but their heights in bot mode are close enough for me. An unexpected plus for me is FAB OP's truck mode, which resembles some kind of custom, chopped semi cab, kinda cool that way. I'll have to post a pic of my recreated scene.

I got rid of the launching Power Hook, since I am firmly against the whole launching-projectile feature that Hasbro seems to think we all universally love. Yes yes, the toys are meant for kids who do indeed like that sort of thing, but I'll just go ahead and disable all mine, thanks.

Ooh, was that a hijack- sorry!

yes it was a highjack, but atleast we all now know you wanna make out with FAB prime.

Actually you have only proven that IRONHIDE is out of scale badly. The rest are more in scale with leader.

If you look at the pic in the second post of this thread, you'll see Leader Class Prime's wheel is bigger than Bumblebee's roof, which is way off in scale.

It looks like Ratchet, and maybe Jazz. are more to scale with Leader Prime, and Ironhide, Barricade and Bumblebee are more to scale with Voyager Prime.

to bad voyager Primes bot mode is ass :tflaugh *back to Hobbs*

Backpack >>> Tuxedo coat tails of doom.

Sweet detail and massive proportions, along with not cheat transformation >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> shell former

Plus the coat tails are moveable.

I think each of them are full of win for different reasons so I bought both.

Leader Prime's on my movie shelf - it just didn't seem right having a Prime who couldn't see over his troops.

I still think Voyager Prime looks more like the movie version in 'bot mode - eventually, I'll probably bring him to work to keep me company.

Sweet detail and too large when compared to the majority of other figures proportions, along with a different kind of cheat transformation >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> shell former

Plus the coat tails are ghey.

FIX'D!

:tflaugh

:tflaugh do you own leader prime? just curious.
