"Final Battle" Jazz

Recommended Posts

I'll have to have that Jazz, me being a GEEwunner and all. Starscream, meh... I recall someone having a testshot of that on ebay for some astounding price. With the head, which I don't like any better that the regular one, I'd just as soon they used it for a skywarp repaint. Or a new Animorphs the Movie line!

I can't believe I even thought that up...

Jazz is awesome, but that SS is a head scratcher.

anyone have comparison pics of the two Screamer heads?

That one looks like C-sideways to me.

O M G!! I love Jazz. Screw Screamer and the other wanna be repaints Jazz is what's up!

I dont know - i dont think the G1 colors are very flattering. And they flatten out the beautiful detaling in his legs.

And with Lolipop Rachett... I am just not sold on the G1-ified figures at all so far.

Even classics updated the look a little, while these remain a literal paint by numbers.... yuk.

Why is it suddenly a bad thing to be G1 accurate? Things went from, "GAWD I hate these movie designs! My childhood is destroyed! MP 03 is green with hip wings, NOOOOOOOO!" to "G1 looks dumb. I cool with a homage but I dont want an extreme homage. MP03 in G1 colors is looks silly in todays times."

My guess is that Hasbro was going for a more "classic" appearing SS head, but with enough MOVIE EXTREEM that it wouldn't be completely out of place on that body.

Jazz is pretty slick. Not "buy the mold twice" nice, but still pretty cool.

Movie Starscream still looks like ass in G1 colors.

I don't think it's so much that TMan...I think it's the movie designs don't go so well with the G1 "eye-popping" colors/paint schemes, since they are designed and we're seeing them mainly in the Real-World color scheme and surroundings. The G1 colors seems so out-of-place after all that.

And to me - G1 MP-SS = Nice.
