:tfhuh Baffles me also. But I have to say that Hasbro is doing great in this area in the toys as far as giving options. The ones who want movie accurate gets want they want. And those who want the more G1 colors are also being satisfied. Have to give them props in trying to please everyone (of course their goal is to sell more units though).

 

As far as the new head for this version, I welcome it not only because I like the design more. But for those who plan to buy both versions it makes each figure more unique and more bang for the buck.

Can't say I'm terribly familiar with Thundercracker, thus I really don't have any comments on cracker's head.

But repainting movie SS into G1 SS should not involve changing heads. If cracker is supposed to be identical to screamer (as I said, I don't know cracker much), then cracker should'a had movie Screamer's head. Imo ofc..

Both this Starscream repaint and the Thundercracker repaint have the new head sculpt.

G1 Jazz repaint FTW. Aside from being a little chunky and the "take my little hand" deformed claws, the mold is pretty awesome and tight. I was pleasantly surprised. Plus, he was on sale at Target this week for like 7 bucks and some change. I couldn't resist. I'd definitely shell out for a G1 redeco.
