Hasbro have a "Collectors Survey" up...

Recommended Posts

Here is my extra info I put in the last box of the survey. You may not all agree with me, but who cares?

Please continue the "Classics" and "Alternators" Transformers lines. These are the best Transformers available at mass retail in a long time.

Give us a collector's choice poll for new toys. This would allow us to tell Hasbro which figures are the most sought-after. Hopefully at that point they would be mass produced and distributed.

If a toy has to be exclusive to one chain, make sure there is enough so that every store can get it and keep it in stock. I hate getting exclusives on eBay.

Surf the internet and fan sites regularly to see what it is we want. The parents who buy stuff for their kids don't care what Transformers are on the shelves, but we do.

Expensive exclusives at conventions are inexcusable. A lot of people want to complete their set of Classics Seekers, and making it a Botcon exclusive is limiting to your profits, and frustrating to your fans. If you are going to make something a con exclusive, then make it one figure, not five.

I would like Takara's Masterpiece Collection and Binaltech Transformers to be distributed by Hasbro. I prefer the diecast cars over the Alternators.

We would love to see previews of new figures online LONG before they come out (the movie figures for example).

We would like to see more surveys like this, to show Hasbro cares about the loyal fans.

You put far too many twist-ties in your figure boxes. It takes quite a long time for me to get the figures out of their boxes. I can only imagine it is even more terrible for children. I can't imagine a logical reason for this.

Distribution doesn't seem to be equal everywhere. I live near Seattle, WA and have not been able to find a lot of the figures I have wanted. I usually have to resort to eBay, which doesn't make either Hasbro or me happy, I'm sure.

I would really like to see a GI-Joe/Transformers line where you buy one pack that comes with a TF and a GI-Joe. For example a Deluxe or Voyager Megatron (based on his GI-Joe version) that comes with Cobra Commander. It would be great to get a line like this that had more "realistic" alternate modes like the Alternators did.

Whoever wrote that survey needs to learn English. :/
