Hasbro have a "Collectors Survey" up...

Recommended Posts

Every time we do a Hasbro survey like this, Their web site gets constant, reliable updates. For 2 weeks straight, they'll be the place to be for TF news updates. After 2 weeks they'll forget all about the place. I'm shocked to this day that they unlocked all the Cybertron planets before they gave up on the site.

i personally forgot to mention the nemesis prime fiasco, and i wish i'd have mentioned the botcon seeker set,

just take the survey again.

DONE

I told that that AFA wasn't worth squawt to me and that they need to back up their collectables/toys with enough quantity (alt. nemisis prime).

Did it, and yeah on more AFA bash included. Also told them to continue Classics and Alts.

yeah i basicly agreed with 99% of people that AFA is just not worth it cuz of their insane pricing and that i want a better selection in the EU

I have not done the survey yet, But i have read the posts on here and had to mention one thing.

You guys mention them asking about AFA, And some have mentioned they might do the same thing (they being hasbro) i know as someone who collected sports cards back in the day a fairly big price guide did a similar survey and now beckett (sports cards price guide) does its own grading. So i wouldnt think most of you guys are to much off track in your thinking.

Took the survey on Sunday. I also had a bunch of bad things to say about AFA as well as HTS (and the whole Nemesis Prime mess) and at the end commented on how ridiculous their use of twist-ties is. Other than wanting to do their own version of AFA they did ask a lot of questions about packaging which makes me wonder if they're considering going to clamshell packaging like G2 had or the current collectors Action figure market like with Neca and McFarlane like to do. I said they should do Alternators style packaging on their boxed figures as those don't use twist-ties and the figures are very well secured and protected. Not sue how others feel about that style packaging, but I think it's ideal (I'm talking about the boxed Alternators, not the bubble packaging).
