Had to pwn afa, too. I hate it that a figure can be marked up so rediculously high when the seller can just give their own description of the quality of the products with pictures to back it up. Besides, all of my figures are coming out of the package unless it's a double. I also let them know that they need to do a fan's choice poll for other lines like Transformers the same as they do for the Star Wars line. But it's unlikely I'll be heard on that note. I just wish we had better service, the line sells well enough I think to deserve it. Plus I let them know how bad it was to get a Nemesis Prime last year, I still don't have one you bastards! Next time make sure you site is working when you do something like that! :tfmad Ok, I'm done before I have an angry stroke.

^ Oh yeah. I told them that it is important to be able to get a hold of an exclusive fig. Not just Nemesis Prime but the last 2 alts. I said that if a fig is gonna be at one store exclusively, it would be nice if all store would carry the product. I told them I had to go through ebay.

Gave AFA a good pasting - I really hope that enough fans say something! I wonder why Hasbro is asking - maybe Hasbro are considering setting up their own version of it - that's definitely one reason they'd ask all those questions - at least a third of the survey about it!

 

Also gave them my views on overpriced convention exclusives, and the general lament of being a tf collector in the UK :P

But the long and short of it is that I basically told them the AFA was we-todd-ed, and that the distribution of their product sucks and they should be providing ALL of their items on HTS.

it's pretty cool idea and you assume that if they went to the trouble to make it and database it all, that they will be at least reviewing 50% of the surveys

i'm so happy that hasbro took us into consideration! hopefully they take these survey's seriously and i hope everybody's been professional.

 

i personally forgot to mention the nemesis prime fiasco, and i wish i'd have mentioned the botcon seeker set, but i did remember to mention masterpiece megatron and how much i enjoyed alternators and the classics line. i was surprised that they asked about AFA, which sounds to me like they're considering making them official in some way, and i don't like that at all. i told them how they sometimes fail to separate the real product from the fake, and how ratings can be easily falsified due to human error and that i very much enjoyed transforming my transformers and figuring out the transformation schemes.

 

even if they don't pay attention to it, at least i feel like they care alot more now.
