You're off taste on kibble is fine, but the Leader class looks nothing like movie stills.

I like the fact that the kibble on the Leader class is more proportioned, split up and balanced. Additionally, the Leaderclass looks more like the Moviestills we have seen than the Voyager one. It's a bit more square in the chest than I'd like but overall it has a better look to me.

Funny, I think the Voyager looks more like the movie stills, the Leader looks too bulky.

Also, the backpack doesn't really bother me, since we didn't even realize it was on there in the first photos leads me to believe that he'll look just fine how I plan to display him (since there won't really be a great side view of the toy on the shelf I intend to use).

So why on this one has most of the dull gray been painted silver?

Also the trailer hitch in the rear is black opposed to blue.

Looks a lot nicer & makes me think I may need to pick two up. One to keep as is & one to paint marker or something.

It would be cool if Hasbro would just paint the silver before release but that probably won't happen.

I don't think this is a custom job. SPX posted an eBay auction with the same silver and "flames on the shins" pattern a day or two ago. This may very well be the colors on the toy when it's released.

That would be awsome. :thumb

SexKitty is correct. The Voyager class version is much more accurate to the movie stills than the Leader class version, even with the back kibble. The transformation is also more accurate, though it does take some "necessary liberties" with the chest and arms. The Leader class version is much more blocky, the transformation of the arms and legs is reversed, and the cockpit area is filled up with electronics which could have been placed elsewhere or eliminated all together.

I see the point about the chest being off and I previously stated that. But to say that the transformation is off when none of have even seen it or the schematics is just silly. Not a one of us knows that. TO ME, the leader class version looks a helluva lot closer to the actual movie version. He has frame work on his shoulders and back, all wheel wells on his legs, his gun is certainly closer to that of which he is using in the movie, he has an actual backside less a monstrosity of a backback that simply shouldn't exist, the bottom of the legs actually match the movie stills almost to a T except in size, the forearms are blocky like the movie model.

There are good and bad points to each figure here but in my opinion (studying pics of all three side by side) the Leader class toy is a better match. The voyager class version is missing much of the detail that the movie model has and also has a bunch of detail that doesn't even show up on the movie model.

I get much of that.

The only thing I see that's inaccurate about the voyager is the legs because of the transfomation.

The Leader class does look noce but for me personally the blocky chest throuws off the whole design. His proportions aren't bad but he still looks fatter than he should. Seeing as it's all transformed to scale & the cab is as large as it is to accomidate the alt mode i wonder if this was inevitable. Who knows deluxe Prime may have looked the same if it followed the same transformation.

the kibble. It's quite the backpack but it's good to see it doesn't hinder Primes ability to stand upright or pose. Until I see the Leader under the wieght of it's electronics endowed cab hold a pose other than standing up right I'm thinking the voyagers better for play value.

I think this is gonna be the pick of the movie crop. Good feel. Good Size. Good playvalue. I with the movie Prime looked more like this toy.

Death, you might want to study those images some more because there is no comparison between the actual movie concept design and the Leader class version. The arms of the concept model are not big and blocky, they are also mostly red. The Leader class version's arms are mostly blue. Secondly, The movie design does not have the rear fenders on the thighs at all, and the only red on the legs is at the ankles with the fenders and a few flames. The colors and shapes of the lower legs more closely matches the sleeper section of the truck mode—not the front end, from which only the fenders and wheels come—and the arms more closely match the front end, not the sleeper section. The Leader version has it backwards. That is why the Voyager class version is more accurate to the concept design as far as transformation and appearance goes.

You're off taste on kibble is fine, but the Leader class looks nothing like movie stills.

eh, to each thier own.

Death, learn this...

1.) Your opinion doesn't matter, period.

2.) You're not allowed to like the Leader Class figure (I do as well).

3.) You'll be dogpiled for going against the "popular" opinion.

Might as well not even try, you're just talking to a brick wall, and your opinion doesn't mean squat to other people, especially Kitten. (I find it absolutely ridiculous that Kitten's going out of the way just to attack this one opinion. Like a shark smelling blood in the water...)

I don't entirely agree that he looks exactly like the movie model, he does however, have quite a bit more of the model's details than the Voyager does. Then again, it's easier to make finer details on a larger model. Miniatures are much much more difficult to work with. (Not impossible though)

All in all....I think this is such a ridiculous thing to get upset over. Death, you and I are entitled to our opinion, and I think we should stick to our guns. Though I do think it's pathetic that in this day and age, no one has to respect another's opinion.

And I'd respect Kitten's, but I don't get the same in return, rather it's scrutinized and I'm told how wrong I am, so I don't give respect back. It's one thing to disagree with a person, or even agree to disagree, but when you've made your point and continue to rehash it over and over, and beat the dead horse 'til it's turned to pulp...you've got issues. (Yeah Kitten, that's aimed directly at you. Because you're not going to stop, you're going to continue on this pathetic crusade until your opinion is the only one agreed with.)

Other people like the Voyager Prime and still give us our opinion. Why don't you give that a try? A compromise isn't beyond you...is it?

EDIT: Oh and let me make this clear....regardless of accuracy and whatnot, sometimes a person just likes what they like, doesn't always have to be a rhyme or reason for it, it's just more appealing to that person and that should be justified as is, with no explanation needed. I happen to have reasons for liking Leader Class Prime, such as the detail, the blockier design, the intricate transformation, the electronics, the way the kibble is integrated into the full transformation rather than a backpack with headlights, and the simple fact of I JUST FRIGGIN' LIKE IT! It doesn't have to be any more complicated than that, nor deep.

Deal with it.

He looks great. Aside from his huge ass.

Wow, for someone complaining about attack other users and accepting opinions, you sure do a lot of what you complain of. Saying you don't want to give the same treatment you think is deserved just because you don't get it, is borderline ignorance. And I didn't see any opinion bashing in this topic, just a few friendly counterpoints from me, and you making a big long post about how everyone is ganging up on you and I'm shark.

Or something.

Right, you like Leader class. But "I JUST LIKE IT LOL" is not a reason, if you don't provide reason you should expect people of contrary opinions to reply to you. If you don't like, add friggn' reasons, it's a really simple concept, and for someone acting so wise, you should get it by now.
