I'm really confused because IMO posts of such nonsense as to who should have what opinion about whatever it is are best ignored rather than whatever the hell is happening here. What to say now about the toys. Hmm, Don't mind the new colours on voyager Prime but the lack of paintaps in the chest kind of hurt it.

 

Leader Prime is eantastic in alt mode, & I'm stating to warm to the bot design but as a Leader I just don't find him as much bang for your buck than the voyager version. Added lights sounds, unless they're really Powerglideing impressive & have Cullin himself voicing actual lines from the movie will simply not do for the price tag attached.

 

Sexkitty. Sort of off topic but I have no problem with you liking voyager Megatron (other thread) Have you even seen what the Leader class looks like? I'm assuming not since you said he'll probably suck. That said you should because believe me when I say he blows the voyager clean out of the water in proto form. If you don't think so I'm fine with that just as I would respect your opinion you would please respect mine as well as anyone else's on this board.

Like I said, sometimes you like what you like. It might be valid for you, but not for another person. However, that doesn't entitle Kitten to demand an answer, especially over something a ludicrous as this debacle. He has no reason to answer to her and her request for validity. Neither I, nor Death demanded anything out of her when this began.

 

We even asked her to stop, she refused and pushed on and on and on. (That doesn't seem right for someone to do that, is it?) Should I demand to ask you why the sky is blue, and repeatedly bash you into giving me an answer when you're not able to or don't feel like it? No, of course it isn't. Should I tell you that I think your opinion sucks because you like Box A, when I think Box B is the correct choice? I can tell you that your opinion is wrong, but it doesn't mean I should. I might not agree with your opinion, but I'm openminded enough to say "Fine, we agree to disagree. Granted, I can understand why it might be bothersome to some to hear an opinion and not get the backstory on it, but so what? Perhaps the person can't explain it (just a feeling), or they don't feel like going into a longwinded explanation just to appease someone that they'll never meet face to face, sitting at a computer terminal, God knows where. It's just not necessary all the time to have to do that, feel a need to, or be forced into it.

 

Kitten won't take no for an answer, and if you do explain it, Kitten says (basically) "Well that's just stupid. I guess you're entitled to stupidity." (that's exactly how the people feel when Kitten has one of those moments...and they seem to be more frequent lately.)

 

Getting personal with Death, calling him a joke account, etc....he hadn't done anything. For kitten to attack me like that, a tad more understandable considering I don't have the posts or the tenure here like Death and the rest of INHer's do, but him? Absolutely uncalled for. That's my main problem with Kitten. Won't let anything die, won't let anyone have an opinion without scrutinizing it (yet if we gave that to Kitten...all hell would break loose) and belittles people sooner or later (like the aforementioned situation with Death.)

 

"No" should be a sufficient answer, and should be acceptable. Kitten has no right to demand answers for something as piddling as a person's opinion, and most certainly has no right to be telling another poster that they can't post without a point. (Message boards are full of people like that. We all post pointless, inane ramblings. That's where most of our post counts come from, and it's fun to let loose and be goofy on here, it's the internet.)

 

If Kitten was willing to be a tad more accommodating, I think Death and I would meet her halfway. I think all three of us are intelligent adults and willing to work this out, or at least should be. Death and I aren't getting that chance. Kitten's unrelenting, and won't stop. Always has a quip or some comment that just isn't necessary.

 

I'm not the only one who sees it, but I am the most vocal about it, because I don't like anyone's opinion being denied, no matter whether or not I agree with it.

 

I'm a Christian, I don't agree with an Athiest's opinion, or point of view, or whatever. However, I do recognize they are entitled to feel the way they do, think the way they do, and I have no right to take it from them. Same principle applies here, and it's simple...I'm not sure why it's considered such a terrible thing to let a person have an opinion and just let it be?

I happen to disagree with this sentiment, what with the backpack and all. However, you're entitled to how you feel about the figure (or anything for that matter) and have me say no more (than I disagree), or to say nothing at all. Would you say that's a fair statement? You're not entitled to be picked apart piece by piece because of a differing view? I most certainly don't think you or anyone should be subjected to that, I'd think that would ruin your entertainment here after awhile.

 

About the figure itself:

I think both versions have their pros and cons, such as...

 

Voyager Pros:

Super posability

Streamlined design of the robot mode

Holographic "Peter Cullen" Driver*

 

Voyager Cons:

Backpack kibble

Not as much detail as the Leader Class (which is understandable. A smaller figure to work with, tends to have less space for such gratuities.)

Lack of electronics and lights. (I love 'em...I always have.)

 

Leader Pros:

More detail (already covered this)

The kibble on the back remains, but it's integrated into the robot mode more than the backpack of the Voyager. (I like that, more transformation steps.)

His weapon, I love the spring loaded set up. (Whee!)

 

Leader Cons:

No discernible knees (might be there, might not...it's never been clarified...)

Not as streamlined as the Voyager and doesn't quite fit the movie model. (Although that's not a make it or break it kinda thing for me.)

 

 

 

*= it was never stated that it's Peter Cullen, but I tend to think of it as that, kinda like a little nod to the old fans. (Could be wrong, could be right, but I choose to look at it that way.)

After going through this whole thread I have come to a couple of decisions that I think we can all agree on.

 

1) Kitty and Death should kiss and make up. They have differing opinions, but this is no reason for a brother and sister to be fighting like this.

 

2) What Autobot032 is uncalled for, and way too long. Dude, this is a toy forum, not vanity press... I stopped reading your rant, and then had to keep scrolling to get past it.

 

3) Both Prime figures are sweet as all hell.

 

4) Bumblebee is most deffinately yellow. (although I still don't know what the significance of this statement is.)

Angry much? Though I can see where you're coming from... however, tone it down a bit, okay? I know you're trying to support another member, but realize that things can be settled in a non-extreme way, or not even in this thread at all. A simple PM stating your problems with SexKitty's remarks would've been a nice alternate, instead of filling up this topic with much-unwanted flame. I don't mean to offend now.

 

Back to the Toys... Ugh. This is so difficult for me, because Voyager Prime looks sweet and back-kibble-tastic, but those new pics of Leader Prime have got me thinking. I don't like to buy duplicates, so this is going to be a bit hard...
