I decided to color all of the cannons orange, and keep the bottom legs white and color the foot pieces black to try and get a G1 feel to it, and I think it worked!

Markers, actually. I was going to use gray as well, but I couldn't find a marker for that color, so this is the end result.

Great skills there, Tortle... looks like your scheme was inspired by the Lucky Draw SL Galvatron. Was it?? It's a nice color scheme, I just don't know if it fits for this character, since it doesn't really tie in to either of the characters Sli was created from.
