And you need to ease off the caps lock. Or at least not get mad over a damn toy argument :tflaugh

Oh trust me, I'm not mad. Amused is more like it. :thumb

But all I'm talking about is the fact that there's no mention of (Ultra) Magnus being this white Prime in armor, unlike other figures like (for example) Powermaster Prime:

Tractor and trailer combined construct Optimus Prime's new super-powered robot form.

That's from PM Prime's tech specs. Ultra Magnus' tech specs don't say anything like that. That plus his appearances in the comics and cartoon = he only had one intended robot mode. The toy was, as shockwave mentioned, a leftover Diaclone toy; the design for it was conceived prior to "Transformers" existing. Hasbro's and Sunbow's decision therefore was to pretend that the white cab didn't exist.

Official Bio FTW

doesnt the new t!t magnus show they had no intentions for the white prime cab? it doesnt seperate or tf into anything. its finally just a part of magnus.

He came with that stuff because the original did. There'd be no reason to remove that stuff anyway since having another figure would enhance play value etc.

And then DW came along and made a thousand kids' Ultra Magnus play times into canon for their alternate G1 universe.

So you're sying that the parts included with the UM toy that belong to the cab are to be ignored just because they were part of the Diaclone version? Still pretty illogical to me.

And I never said there was any mention of Magnus with armor. But anything you're saying don't verify that he wasn't intended to have armor.

I don't see the relevence of pointing out the original toy version.

wasnt that your whole arguement?

That G1 Ultra Magnus in any continuity is a white Prime with armor.

You know what? I'm just gonna :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl now

I'm not here to explain or defend Hasbro/Sunbow's actions. I'm simply explaining that that's what they *did*.

That's called an "argument from silence", which is a logical fallacy.

You were indeed right, and I was wrong. I humbly bow down to your genius.
...thank you :tfgrin

Actually, what I meant was I have more important things to go off and do now instead of talking to a wall. :tfgrin

Oh and to answer CP's question:

is DW's G1 universe the same as Marvel or Sunbow's G1 universe?

No. F*ck no.

You know what? I'm just gonna :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl now
