As far as seeing any minibots, cassettes, tape players, Autobot cars with the MP approval is wishful thinking.

 

The Alternators took care of the Autobot Cars.

 

Soundwave is getting an MP3 treatment which is very nice and means that they do recognize him as a flagship character.

 

Since Megs is an MP now, it's very possible that Galvy could be next or down the line.

 

Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime would look real "geeky" in MP size.

 

Grimlook would look pretty good as an MP.

 

Starscream could be recolored and made into another seeker. I don't think Hasbro has sat down and really thought about what the MP series actually mean. The DVD Optimus is horrible and the colors and off from the 20th. And they collect dust which has me afraid that they may not release Starscream in the US.

 

Since they choose a different size scale for Starscream, that means that they can and would make another MP in another size.

 

I think Shockwave would be menacing as an MP. He's almost that size in his G1 form now. His transformation isn't intricate but Shockwave was important as far as comic book standards go. I vote for him. Rodimus showed up in 1 G1 comic and got kicked around alot in the UK issues? Shoot, I'll take Cyclonus for that matter. He needs an updated look and I loved his jet mode.

We'll get some Seeker recolors next, for sure.

 

As far as new molds go, I'm guessing G1 Galvatron.

How many times do I have to say a kick ass Soundwave with a working radio/speakers and Cassette minions that each have sound chips that play different soundbites while in Soundwave's deck.

 

If not him, A double MasterPiece set of Jazz and Bumblebee. I'd love to say some one like Rodimus or HotRod but....I dont know if I'd even care about them enough to pay $100.

I have come to a crossroads I have finally found the extra cash to get an MP-03. but I find myself wondering if I should hold out and hope for more accurate colors. so far every other MP release has been a revisit to a previous mold and with the coming of MP-05(which i have money for so don't worry about that) it makes me wonder if MP-03 will be inline to get a fresh paint job.

I think Blitzwing would be almost impossible due to how different a tank and jet are from one another - Astrotrain might be doable, as trains and space shuttles are both essentially long rectangular boxes.

I'd say that an "accurate color Starscream" we'll be the last use of the MP03 mold.

 

Since an "accurate color Starscream" is probably the most desired repaint, it makes more business sense for them to release Thundercracker and Skywarp first.

I voted on the skywarp/thundercracker repaint because that's what I'd most like to see next, but in all honesty, I betcha the next MP's just gonna be a new character. Or repaint of MP Megatron like Black MP Megatron or MP Megaplex or MP Megatron with sniper accessories (stock & silencer).
