I'm feeling gimped about C-Primus' power level.

G1 Galvatron was forged in the heart of a god. He's an Emmisary of Unicron. Kinda like the Silver Surfer with a cannon on his arm. He is suposed to be as far beyond a normal transformer as a Normal Transformer is beyond a toaster. As for who built who... Who says that Primus didn't make the Quints so that they could make the TFs? I mean, really what is the evolutional advantage of being an upside down eggplant with 5 faces and tentacles?

Okay... so did anyone stop to think that the Japanese are just terrible storytellers and that's why he's so 'weak'?

So true, because Akia, Lone Wolf and Cub, The Seven Samurai, and Final Fantasy VI have horrible stories...

Well they’re terrible at anything that involves living robots without pilots...

See I have no problem with how Galaxy force is written. Primus jsut woke up from a very long nap, he's been weakened by Starscream, he's been holding back a black hole in this weakened condition, and he seems to be more in line with the Greek or Roman God concept of extremely powerful but not all powerful. He's not meant to be perfect or immortal, and in his state at that moment he was far being at the top of his power.

Galvatron was weakened by the time Prime hits him, Its not like he went down in a single shot at the begining of the fight, he'd been fighting them all for some time. Prime jsut got in the last good hit, and even then he didn't kill him. Not to mention that I don't think Primus was willing to kill him, he resurrected him in a way, it was his power that let him survive the attack on Giant Planet and become Galvatron.

Galaxy Force still has lots of plot holes of course, but its a hell of alot better then the butcher job they did with the dub into Cybertron. Entire sections of dialog were changed to try and shoehorn the show onto the end of the Energon. Which the show was never written to do. Galaxy Force is a stand alone series of its own.

And depending on which storyline/origin you go by for Primus he's a being of energy, the Robot form is jsut a shell he built around himself to protect him as he recovered from the first fight with Unicron before the Transformers were ever built. He's been holed up trying to recover while at the same time building a world and protectors with what limited energy and life essence he had left after that first cataclysmic battle.

Note that in G1 Galvatron was a demi-god

As I see it, G1 Galvatron was Megatron after a repair job from a big robot created by some scientist. No "god" involved, demi or otherwise.

I'm pretty sure he meant Comics Galvatron, who was given power from Unicron who was an actual god-like being of darkness in the old comics.

I know nothing of the actual storyline of GF/CYB...just from straight reading what I read initially, seemed well, quite stupid. I just find it wierd that a planet in robot form can be beaten by a 40-50 ft. robot, no matter how weak said Robo-Planet is, unless the 50ft. tall robot has some ultimate weapon (like the Matrix) taht is the Robo-Planet's super-weakness.

Despite the total Herculian-level pwnage he single handedly whipped out in Target:2006 and the Time Wars. Riiiiiiiiiight.

Name one other Transformer "mortal" who single handedly kicked more arse in G1.

From what it seems Goki...

Hobbes doesn't subscribe to the Comics Origins and Stories. Which is fine, to each his own...but comics Galvatron was superior to cartoon Galvatron in everyway.

He's more like Zeus or Odin than he is like Yaweh.

I don't know what you mean by this sentence. Yahweh was a Hebrew Thunder god, very similar to Zeus., less like Odin.

Yahweh is also the Hebrew name for the one true God in the modern day monotheist version of Judaism. Though technically its spelled YHVH or YHWH as Hebrew has no actual vowels. The name passed down as the Jews merged their early pantheon into the single divine entity. Yahweh took over as supreme god around the time the Iraelites were taken by the Babylonians. Right about hte same time that they put together the Torah from the many oral traditions and stories they'd been carrying around so long. And really you'll never hear a Jew use the word today since its considered taboo to speak his name.

Jehova also comes out of the same name and was the result of early translations of Hebrew into English. Yahweh and Jehovah are bascially two different names for the same all powerful divine being.

Hope that helps you understand what Haggisman was actually trying to say.
