Wal-mart has like 20 of these, so I'll wait til this goes on clearance I guess.  their face were ok, the bot mode make them look like they're 'cosplaying'.

:lol

My thing on the faces is - this is the  10th? release from this series - so come on guys get over it already - WE KNOW THEY WILL HAVE STAR WARS FACES.

I actually really like Chewie's face.  And Han looks like Ford but not flateringly so...

I absolutely agree with Elrod (by the way i would love to read your review on these guys) this truely is a TF first and SW second.

And its the falcon!!!! :luv

Also, the faces now look more robotic than the earlier figures. Luke Skywalker's robot head just looks like a human head with silver skin.  I had a look at these toys at the shops today, and much like Anakin, the heads are looking more robotic now. I agree that they really should just give up on the whole character tribute thing with the robot heads, but having the robot heads look more mechanical/robotic whilst still looking like the characters themselves is a fair compromise. I really wanna buy Primus this week, but if I can't find him by this weekend I will probably end up getting Han/Chewie.

Argh...I do not want to pay $30 plus for this though.... >_< these are all sooo overpriced.

Not overpriced at all. Combiner, heavy, highly detailed, articulated, tons of lights and sounds, 2 additional figures for even more playability, no real TF has given us that in quite a while. Crappy stuff like Vector Prime (which basically has zero transformation involved and crappy sounds, not counting the ugly key and flexible wings and sword) is overpriced.

Okay, picked him up (as I said in my Starscreaming thread ;-) )..

I rescind my comment. Very worth $30, although $35 is pushing it.

Mine had the cockpit glued shut.. took a lot to get that broken loose. =/

Also.. Hasbro's instructions suck, as usual. Han's shoulders should have the blue sides facing forwards (he's supposed to look like he's wearing his blue jacket/vest), his feet have amazing articulation, and he has heels you can unfold to help him balance better. Oh, and he's shipped with the center piece of the falcon mistransformed.

Chewie I'm still trying to figure out stuff about. I'm a little suspicious of his ankle joints, but I might be doing something wrong. Also, considering how back-heavy the engines make him, I'm surprised he doesn't have a heel like Han does.

Edit: Oh. Chewie's chest slides forward/back to give him proper definition/balance, and his wrists do rotate. Most of the joints on this guy are quite stiff, usually due to the paint.

I just got mine today and I'm quite happy with it...er...them, whatever. The bot modes are for the most part nice and sturdy and not quite as bad with the kibble as I thought they'd be.

As for the Falcon....WOW! It's perfect. Everything fits and locks together very nicely, no problems there. It's every bit as good as I could have hoped it would be.

I've never been really big into buying Star Wars stuff, but these have been a nice change of pace. Even though some of the bot modes leave a bit to be desired the vehicles look nice, and to me that makes them worth it.

Some really good reviews here. :thumb  Though I'm not about to bother with any of these I'm really glad to hear Hasbro's shaped up quality wise, and people are getting there full dollars worth out of these.

I've already seen most of them but with too many other awsome TFs to collect I've had no problem holding off. As for getting your moneys worth out of current TFs opposed to some of these, sigh, (I really had to think about this and in answer I sadly have to go with MP Prime. Cost aside no TF has even come close in recent memory. :redface

I saw that at Wal-Mart yesterday.  Han Solo looks like he got some sheet metal glued onto his face, and he still has brown hair! They seem way too chunky, to me.

they are HORRIBLY posed in the box. For instance, Han's shoulders are incorrect (sloped downwards with no blue showing), and Chewie's arms are out of place as well.

But yes. They are very blocky, and mechanical, almost in stark contrast to the Jedi-based transformers.

but look at the design of the Jedi Starfighters or the Xwing and compare it to the Falcon -its a pretty blocky design
