Picked up Palpatine (few weeks back) and he feels like a Knock Off. VERY poor quality, thin plastic and messy paint job... Keep the updates and reviews coming TFans!

Really?  the one I got is great quality, strong plastic, good tight joints, the head sucks but thats about the only downside I can find to him and I'm going to replace that anyways.

Sorry guys. But knew from the moment i saw it that it would be pure luvin'.

 

I realy do hope the SW-TFs continue in this direction in terms of quality and design asthetics.

 

As for the heads - this is what - the 9th release? get over the heads already. or replace them.  But seriously Chewie lookds really good. Han.... not so much.

 

but a question for the mods - can we merge these two Falcon Threads? I love this discussion but its really the same one spread out and stuff....

Well I finally broke down and bought this bad boy today.  My local Wal-Mart is upgrading to a Super so they're getting rid of some stock before the move--and they had the SWTF Falcon on clearance for $20!!!  At that price I just couldn't resist.  And I gotta say, I'm not disappointed.  I'm amazed just by the amount of heft this thing has.  It feels good and solid in alt mode, and the bots have good articulation (though Han's legs are a little on the floppy side).  Overall, I gotta say, me likey!  I may have to get some more SWTFs...

i have to say that i have had absolutely ZERO desire to own ANY ST:TFs...

Argh...I do not want to pay $30 plus for this though.... >_< these are all sooo overpriced.

Not overpriced at all. Combiner, heavy, highly detailed, articulated, tons of lights and sounds, 2 additional figures for even more playability, no real TF has given us that in quite a while. Crappy stuff like Vector Prime (which basically has zero transformation involved and crappy sounds, not counting the ugly key and flexible wings and sword) is overpriced.

Actually saw this thing at TRU this past weekend. And not just one mind you. about 12. :redface Seriously WTF TRU???? Nothing past damn Armadaclones and CDRAs and you bring in half a dozen Han/Chewie combiners. :tfevil

So I looked at it and at 40 CND not buying this was a no brainer. :tfpuke 

Well finally found teh Falcon.  Its an amazing figure.  Despite the heads which I'm not a fan of, the molds themselves jsut rock.  Good articulation, nice sound chips, very solid in both modes.  Was surprised by the size of them, these guys are big.  And the Falcon is jsut such a cool looking ship. 

Seen a bunch of him, but only at Wal*Mart. I'd've bought him by now too, but the paint on "Han's" face is really bad on all the ones I've seen. It's been runny, or there's overpaint on the hair or face. Not good.
