I was really into military jets and model airplanes at the same time as I was getting into TFs, so the :Dc jets were mega disappointing to me... they just sucked IMO.

it's much improved now IMO... those visible arms in the jet mode were teh sukk :tdown

And no, it's not that his legs have been cut off, but he looks totally different.

His arms are all armoured Jetfire style, he has these stupid little arches on top of them.

He actually reminds me a little of the IDW Starscream in that sense.

He looks like an Alternate reality Starscream.

And that's before we talk about the legs.

 

And maybe this wouldn't have been an issue if we were shown this first, but we were shown what it could have been, and that highlights teh new molds shortcomings a thousand fold.

I like the new legs better JMO

He's still a Master Piece. This is the ultimate Starscream ever produced. I'll go as far as saying the Ultimate Transfomer. Jet mod, Perfect. Robot mode, He looks just like Dreamwave's vision, Which to me was the perfect blend of G1 toon and G1 toy. I bet the side Panels are optional. If not, I'm gonna make em optional

 

I think what peoples problem is, is the fact that with out the kibble he'd look exactly like the show. Imagine MP Prime with the roof of his trailer hanging off his back.

the cockpit of an F-15 is too long to fit in that section, it's just the way it is... the original :Dc jets shortened the cockpit to get away with it.

 

BTW I'm looking at the feet again and they seem MUCH more sturdy now.

If that is possible, then many of my ciriticisms will dissappear.

But if it's not without seriously hacking him to pieces, then not.

I like the new feet too. I hope he doesn't like tasting the floor as much as Prime :redface

all of you need to remember that in the japanese market, MP-Screamer will have to compete with Yamato's Macross Valkyries. by making MP-Screamer's vehicle mode super realistic, that would give TakTom an advantage over the Valkyries, who's vehicle modes aren't all that realistic.
