.........How does kibble hanging from the waist make a TF more posable? You cant possibly own Alt Tracks or any other bot that has kibble in major areas on the body. Like Alt Prime and his doors blocking his arms.

I am the only one who PREFER THE NEW MOLD? If you remember the show, it is true that Starscream doesn't have those kibbles on the waist... BUT HE DOES NORE HAVE IT ON HIS LEGS EITHER!

The improvement on the Jet Mod is just amazing, and I simply doesn't see where the Bot mode has been disminished. The kible on his waist is just a invitation for more cool posing (while on the legs, it would only look good if following the legs). I also think that the new position of the kible offers more room for articulation.

This was a claim from a TF fans who like to constantly transform his bots.

i agree

Hmm, they downgraded him from Masterpiece to Alt.

That's a shame.

... no they didnt infact its more complex then befor

A downgrad? Just let someone good with photoshop do a colorjob? This is that old G1 Starscream as ever.

G1 Starscream didn't have all that crap stuck to his arms, nor those things attatched to his hips.

The robot mode suffers for the realism of the vehicle mode.

That is an Alt and an Alt is a step down from a Masterpiece.

I don't mind an Alt Starscream. I'm not saying it's crap, but it's not the Masterpiece it was when we were given the first proto.

I wound up paying $150 for MP Prime, and I still think he was worth every last penny.

I'd have said the same about the first proto but this new one is a $35 all plastic Alt at best imo.

Masterpiece Prime isn't just about technical complexity.

In fact, his Alt mode is unrealistic compared to any Alt and inferior in that way.

But the Masterpiece figures put the robot first.

This new sculpt has added kibble in robot mode, taken some of the "show accuracy" away for a more realistic Alt mode.

That is what they do with Alternators.

I feel he has a point....hmm...*rethinks preorder*

Yeah, but that jet mode is freaking sweet dude

Well, for me, a MasterPiece is about the sheer of detail and the quality in the both mode. Unlike Grimlock or Prowl, THERE IS a respect of the original design. As far as I can remeber, Optimus never had pistons nor wheels on the legs, yet it give a better feeling to the MP1. MP1 was done to e sure the bot mode look good, not especialy perfectly  acurate. The bot mode on MP3 definitively look good, and the additions doesn't downgrade him.

Well I'll be dang diggity anged.  I don't like where this is going.  It won't stop me from buying it, but I really hope I can do something with that gundam kibble.  From the "hovering" pic it looks like it might be rotatable but not removable.  Takara had to go and pull a hasbro on us.  Oh well, like I said they're still getting my money.  Bastardos.

you can point out flaws all you want and i agree they have gone for a better jet mode. but its Takara Tomy who design it so if they say its master peace its master peace

as for alts being worse.... i dont see your logic since their not G1 rather a what if? verient G1 so show acurasy(sp) is not a factor

I will make a completely uneducated guess and say there's a 99% chance that the hip bits are detatchable and a 75% chance that you can put/leave them on the hips or leave them on the legs.

Who knows? I would just like someone who is actually working on this to say whether or not the parts are removable.

Oh, and the other changes are cool.
