I know it's good to be able to have a figure able to selfcontain all his bits and pieces but I will definitely not be having thigh kibble on my bot. They can stay right on his legs.

Ya I sure hope they are optional, hips or legs. Mine will be on the legs for sure, I dont know why they would have bothered changing it in the first place. The leg placement for the tail fins and such is as G1 as it gets.

I'm fearing that this thing is not going to be as big as I am expecting.

Judging by the screw heads, it looks to be about maybe 1/2 the size as MP1.  Which to me is too small.

Then we have the new classic one coming out, I expect to be a standard sized $10 item probably 1/2 that size, and seemingly not much worse than the MP3.

I was taken back when I found out how small the little Prime, what's it called THS really is.  Its cool and all, but I figured it'd be bigger also.

he is that small but dont forget his jet mode is very long and he has quite the wing span so your still getting the same about of plastic its just spread out

as for Classics VS MP3 thats just silly. Classics screamer is far more basic and has nothing like the detail MP3 has renember the last load of pics showed that MP star scream had hatches that could open on the back of his legs to show the jet engines internals and the wing thingys can move up and down plus an opening cockpit to name a few. oh and he will have die cast and a stand

just thoght idd point out they have remodled the sides of the arms so that when hes in jet mode the side kibble is flush with the arms

this thing is getting worser and worser.

I don't think so. I'm a big fan of Shoji Kawamori's desing works and he's doing more remodeling work for the toy to maintain its plane form without any excess junk on it. I'm a bit 'iffy' about the new hip mounted tail fins, but damn. thats pretty nice looking.

He should be as tall as Cybertron Galvatron(G1 Galvatron for that matter)

Basically 2 inches shorter than Prime.
