edit: while looking over my ideas most of them are recycled g1 names... so meh.

 

imo:

 

cheetor- excellion. i just like that name.

rattrap- speedtrap sounded cool.

primal- titan pax. dont ask me why i put those two together

dinobot- velocitor sounded cool as well. not in the sense that hes fast, but kind of foreshadowing him being a raptor. or recycling again carnivac sounds cool.

rhinox- tankor sounds to menacing. id go with brainstorm or bonecrusher if i can recycle names. or atlas... i like that. or how bout mainframe?

tigatron- glyph?

airazor- scylla

silverbolt- something about how he named himself in coming of the fuzors make me think that is his name... and its not like he looked in the mirror and said "i shall be... bird-dog!" i think silverbolt is his name. hehe weirdwolf.

 

megatron- im partial to cryotech or megaplex.

scorponok- obsidian

terrorsaur- skyscreamer, terradive..

blackarachnia- suiken

quickstrike- ransack

inferno- magnus or meltdown

rampage- well... he was protoformx so... no need.

tarrantulus- jhaixus.. venom..

Not that he'd really have anything to do with "terrible LIZARDS" per se, but someone said earlier, only the "saur" makes a dinosaur a lizard creature, the dino merely means terrible.  Dinobot would be terrible robot.  Dinodishes would be terrible dishes.  (like the kind my roommate leaves...yecch)

 

In that case, the "Dino-Bots" would have to be the Gobots...

One cool thing about gobots is their transformation schemes were way different from TF schemes. Even if they were the same vehicle that a TF uses.
