I especially love how they got the gun barrel to be positioned like the cartoon Megs. That is one nice little feature that makes that design awesome.

This got me curious, and I was looking around at Abrams images. At the bottom of the chest plate, above the belly vents, are those tie-down points or are those the headlights of the tank? And is it my imagination, or is that arm cannon actually made out of the Abrams' engine?

Since I am into MP's, BT's and to a lesser extent Alts, I just want this Megatron in either grey or desert camo.

hasbro, if you're listening.  i mean really listening/reading this, i am a loyal fan of your transformers line.  you should make this, so i can give you money for it.  do we have a deal?  i want you to think about it and call me in the morning. :thumb

I like it.  It's a nice mixture of G1 and G2 with something else I think I'm missing.

 

I mean, the tank is for the G2, and from G1, we have a very nice color scheme with a beige instead of gray for the tank so that he'd wind up being all gray.

 

I like it and hope that it's the real deal.

 

It'd also be nice to have him be a little bigger than Prime.

 

As for him being taller than the rest of the alts...no issue.

 

I personally think that MP Prime was meant to be used along side the alts cause if you remember in the cartoon, save for the rare appearance of Skyfire, the gestalts, and the Dinobots, Prime was one of the biggest Autobots there was.

 

And a fair amount of the Decepticons unfortunately due to lack of ability to have continuity, were varying sizes depending on who they were fighting, save for Megatron who also was in the same height department as Prime save for similar things like Decepticon gestalts.
