So I've read this whole long-ass thread, and at the risk of being stoned with Minicons, decided to bring it back up and post my results. The paint is literally still wet on this guy.

Not sure if this mod has a name, but it's the one pictured elsewhere in the thead where the fenders face front and the doors act as wings:

I modified the top black part just behind his head so his bumper halves would fit there. Their posts fit into slightly enlarged existing screw holes; a little Lego-forming but not unreasonable:

The paint is a little lighter than I thought, but the flash here makes it look worse than it really is:

I really like the fenders/doors mod- log-falling simple and really makes a difference, plus it's reversible.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I did the leg extension mod- not the hardcore one likned elsewhere in this thread, just the one where you yank on the knees. I actually clipped the spring inside one leg to make it easier, then I discovered that folding back the flaps behind the knees, all the way back, hard, and pulling up on the leg makes it MUCH easier, takes away that "I'm-gonna-break-it" feeling. Not sure why it works but it does.

minion, this is a great how-to. im definitely doing this to my NEXT alt prime! :P

i was able to extend the legs, with some SCARY effort, but that kneecap fix will make it look so much better, as well.

thanks alot guys, I saw this thread and about criped myself.

i have sone the ahoulder mod, and the leg mod, not sure if i will do more, i dont usually mod my tf's unlessi have extras, but "pooptastic " prime annoyed me from the moment i bought it

I am relatively new at 'bashing, but i didnt like any of the mods for the left over bumper parts, after the shoulder mod, so i came up with my own, tel me what you think

if you take the bumpers off and keep them together, flip them over and on the inside there are 2 holes, seeminlingly for no reason

so i took some scrap plastic and made pegs to hold the bumper

an easy fix for the "what to do with extra parts, btw make sure to test the pegs before glueing them in, they fit right under the screw holes for the most part. these did not hinder the transformation at all, i never do bad mods like that.
