After seeing the gallery I'm grudgingly considering buying this Alt.  BUT--He is NOT going to be Optimus, because he just ain't big and bad enough.  Instead I'll add flames to him, swap the head, and make him Rodimus.  I think it would be an inprovement.  Besides I already have MP Prime, and despite the scale difference he leads my Alt/BTs.

i thought that mp prime's alt mode was to scale with the bts/alts?

The legs looks similar to RID Magus, IMO... repaints anyone?

even tho this mold is getting a ton of Blot (i'm sure most of it's just kuz it's prime and he's not an uber big leader, stfu fan boys)

well, im not a fanboy- i have MP prime, and of course i think he fits better with line- but overall i was looking forward to alt. prime. he arrived in the mail this week, and i would express half disappointment- as a dodge ram, he's awesome- really cool stuff. in prime mode, i don't really care for him- he feels less articulated then most of the others- and there is just a lot of red plastic all over the place with not much else to be said. next to the rest of them, he looks a little off. i dont know....

I get so tired of this.  Pretty much every Alternator has a huge amount of kibble hanging off the back.  Check these links out and tell me if Alt. OP looks any worse.

Kibble hanging off the back is the price you pay for extremely realistic alt modes and highly "G1 toon accurate" robot modes.  It's the nature of the Alternators line.  Pretending that Alt. OP is the only one with this problem is laughable.  There's just no pleasing many fans.
