This information came from HasbroUK at the UK toy fair, it's real.

Also, if you look closely, the right-arm/car-nose on the robot picture isn't the same as the car pictured - it's the production version - and the robot's left arm apprears to be the back of the coupe model, not the hatchback

I see what you're talking about.  If it is the coupe, then I am more inclined to believe that it's real. (I still say only models that will be released in the U.S. will be included in the Binaltech/Alternator line.  The hatchback, to date, is not slated for availability here.)

Don't get me wrong: I am a Honda enthusiast, having owned three myself (2 Hondas and an Acura to be exact).  The Civic would be sweet and very fitting of a little dude like Rumble.

How come Prowl was able to have a gun?

maybe because he is a police car, so feel its okay for the law to have a gun.

rumble rocks!! definitely will be a US release. definitely a coupe and not a hatchback. definitely good to hear the fandom NOT ripping a pre-released alt.

He's a cop? Radar gun?

the civic looks really good.

The falcon?????? Oh wow, I guess the SWtransformer line has found it's end.

The jedi starfighter mold proves to be the best mold out of the SW transformer line.

Euro Civic as Rumble, didnt see that coming....but nice. :)

Seriously - we need to lay off the Falcon bashing.

So will the Falcon be bigger than the other figs?

Even though they're both subsidaries of Honda (Japan), Honda USA and Acura are run seperately with different management teams - Honda USA had a problem with the gun, Acura did not.  (I guess that it is also possible that Honda USA's problem wasn't the gun itself, just how large it was - notice that the barrel on Prowl's weapon is much less prominent.)

the civic looks really good.

nope

even though every fan in the world already called this (Han + Chewie = Falcon) it still looks pretty awful IRL.

Which makes me think that the Alternators concept isn't really too far away from SWTFs anymore. "Everyone's a car!" didn't raise any eyebrows when we were talking about G1 guys who actually had been cars, but now..... it's just getting silly to me. I predict that before the Alt line ends we'll see a complete WTF Alt that's like Sky Lynx or something.
