Beast Wars

Recommended Posts

While Torca is cool...I'm gonna pull an X-bob here...the figure was actually a Blendtron, an agent of Unicron from beast wars Neo...(same series as Magmatron)...would kind of liked that to have been the case. I mean Magmatron in the US was a maximal figure. I just hope for Magnaboss and Tripredicus...

Actually he was Torca before he was Elephaorpha

Torca in 98, Elephaorpha in 99

So many Beast Wars Neo plot holes, so little time...

  • 2 weeks later...

issue 2 was good, it was cool seeing all the beast wars figures i own being in here. Especially since I own all the fuzors. The biggest question I have is how there are transmetal 2's there.

So its out now? Drat, I usually pick them up on Friday (but its Paddy's Day and im working)

maybe - like the G1 comics - its not in continuity.

It takes place after Optimal Situation...

the beast wars comic takes place just before/kinda during the episode "Changing of the Guard"

yeah, I kinda figured it'd take place sometime early on in season 3

But BW season 3 had proto-humans.  The caption on the first page of issue 2 of the comic puts it at 70,000 BC - I'm pretty sure Homo Sapiens were around by that point, and I'm absolutely positive that our ancestors had made their way out of a single valley looooong before 72,000 years ago.

But it's a very good read despite this.
