Lovin the Big Convoy and Lio Convoy cameos.  I hope to see more.

 

edit:  Are they going to call them (if the call them anything) in the series?  Will they keep the Cpnvoy surname or DUMMY out and call the Big Prime and Lio Prime?

I most likely see Prime going instead of convoy, but you don't know with furman sometimes.

I'd rather they didn't use Convoy since it makes no sense in English. I would say expect all new names for them.

I can't wait for the trade...(you know it will happen) just to see the sketches of the pre-bast modes...I NEED to see Magmatron's pre beast alt mode...he's like the next stage of Duo Con tech. Also I think Mags is gonna be the "Thunderwing" for Beastwars...

yes, there were "Primes" at that time and yes Lio and Big Convoy are bother leaders who carry Matrixes, or Matrices. In the Japanese continuity, apparently the Matrix was divided up among many others, taking the name the Convoy Council. But Optimus Primal does not carry a Matrix with him.

Then why in the Beast Wars II movie do he and Lio Convoy do the "double matrix blast" special move? That confused the heck outta me.

different continuities. Beast Convoy isn't the same as Optimus Primal. There's a difference. It's pretty clear that Optimus Primal does not have a Matrix throughout the Beast Wars series, except for when he carried Optimus Prime's spark when Rhinox said Prime's spark "has a Matrix with it." Events from the American Beast Wars are not meant to coincide with the Japanese Beast Wars (despite what X-bob has to say about it  :tflaugh)

Cybertronian Magmatron...Leo Convoy, hell BIG Convoy...all there...Leo Convoy looked like he turned into Liger Zero...The pacing was great for a first issue..a lil better than Infiltration...I got 3 of the covers, the Primes, Megs, and the battle...

I agree about the pacing thing.  This one moves right along.  I only had enough money for one cover, and I spent about 5 minutes debating between Magmatron and the fight cover, eventually going for the fight.

 

If they do start a BW ongoing, I really really hope they rewrite the last 3 episodes of S3 and make an alternate timeline.

well, since Furman wrote the final ep of Beast Wars, I doubt he'll make any changes to it.

Ah, so thats why the only refer to who I thought was Optimus Primal as "the legendary warrior Convoy!"
